We spent a weekend with friends in Merida and were delighted with our reservation at Casa del Maya. Our room was colorful and gave us a peek into the culture of Merida just by admiring the furnishings and art. It was hard to leave the comfort and the cool little hide away spots at Casa del Maya to relax and...

On our fourth visit to Casa Del Maya in Merida we found the same hospitality and attention to detail that we have experienced over the years. They have created a haven in the middle of the city. Great bed and breakfast with exceptional service. Owners briefed us on where the best restaurants, entertainment and cultural events were. Wife is celiac and next morning she had gluten free muffins fresh and hot for breakfast. Were genuinely concerned that we have a great time while in the city and provided excellent advice. Highly recommended

Merida is a remarkably happy city: great food at reasonable prices, lots of concerts and events. Best of all, the spacious and chic Paseo de Montejo is closed to traffic on Sunday mornings and open to bikes, families, pets, artists - a joyful atmosphere. It's hard to say what we liked best about Casa del Maya. The feeling of space...
