Great location, nice pool and good breakfast. But our room was small, not very clean and the bathroom smelled awful - had to keep the door shut at all times or you couldn't be in the room. Very little hot water if you didn't showerer real early.

This is a quiet and quaint b@ b conveniently located in Santiago's neighborhood in the center of Merida , and close to all the main attractions of the old City. David is an amazing host , their breakfast is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Wonderful place and the best host ever! Terrific Mexican breakfast in the mornings, a lovely patio to relax on in the afternoons. Filled with wonderful eclectic art, some painted by our talented host David. I hope to go back soon!

Los Arcos was highly recommended to us and we were not disappointed. All these glowing reviews are accurate but don't really do full justice to the pleasant experience of staying at Los Arcos. David was a kind, pleasant and incredibly helpful host. He suggested restaurants and cultural events and even drove us to the bus station for an overnight visit...

Los Arcos is a palace. It looks that way from the photos and inside you find that it is all true. I felt like I was royalty, yet royalty who was loved. Never intrusive, David somehow anticipated all our wants and needs. He puts the same care and thought into his guests as he did in designing Los Arcos. The...

Don’t be fooled by the modest outside façade. Inside, you will find, an oasis that you won’t want to leave. The Los Arcos owner, David Reed, has created a museum quality interior and a lush tropical exterior garden and pool area. The real highlight of Los Arcos does not lie in its superior appearance of environs. The real highlight is...

This is a very, very late review that I thought I'd already written last winter. Now that our next stay at Los Arcos is just a few weeks away, curiosity pushed me to have a look at fellow travellers' opinions. I say curiosity, because this will be our 5th stay there, and I really had no need to verify the...

Visited Los Arcos for the fourth time, this one with my fiancee. Simply put, there is no better B&B I have ever been to than Los Arcos. Proprietor David Reed is the ultimate host and a comment he made while we were there this time says it all, "I just like making people happy." His advice on what to see,...

This quaint inn never disappoints! Great breakfasts with a lush garden makes for great mornings. Special treatment is always the norm. David is the greatest of hosts with an inn right in the middle of the colonial city. Close to all the action without the noise and bother. You will not be disappointed, we have not for this our 8th...

We recently returned from a delightful trip to Merida.. to visit my great Aunt... I booked Los Arcos months ago due to a find on trip advisor... and boy was Trip Advisor right.... the pictures on line are great, but even better in person!!! The house is beautiful!!! And private... our two rooms in back of the main house behind...
