Rooms are old and the one we had was dirty, would need to be completely repainted and cleaned well. (we were in the 22) They is no mosquito nets in the windows and we got quite bitten the first night. The safe is a real joke... you could basically leave the room with it in your hands. The door only...

This hotel is a gem. It is clean, beautiful garden area to relax, extremely friendly staff & best location in historical area across from Santa Lucia park. Very quiet. Pablo, himin, Paulina, & Alexojdro made out stay very pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay and would return. The staff was mostly very helpful and the restaurant food was very good. The breakfast that was included was great. The only negative thing was our safe didn't work and was able to be picked up. The staff could not help. Otherwise, everything was great.

I've stayed here maybe six times over 15 years, and remember when Casa Lucia was very elegant, run by very classy proprietors, and not that expensive. It has changed hands (perhaps twice) since those glory days. Much still remains, in particular, the tasteful and expensive room furnishings, some of the artwork, elegant bathrooms, and a nice pool and poolside area....

I couldn't have been more pleased with my one night stay at Casa Lucia. The staff was so helpful. The room is very large, and well appointed. The entire decor is welcoming, and comfortable. I left before breakfast was served, but the hotel was kind enough to provide me with a meal to take with me in my car. The...

This hotel is located directly across the street from a pretty plaza and next door to a large church. There are many restaurants within short walking distance. We took a day trip to Celestun on the coast to visit the bird sanctuary. Among many other birds that migrate there, there are thousands of Pink Flamingos. Quite a sight! We also...

Lovely hotel in downtown Merida. Excellent location. Beautiful layout. Nice inner court. Friendly staff. A bit pricey, but worth it. The only complaint was skimply breakfast - free breakfast includes a toast with jam and a coffee.
