We stayed for seven days. The staff was excellent. Rooms were cleaned with perfection. The people at the counter were so helpful and polite. The people in the breakfast area were first class. I felt safe in the area, you must use the room key to go from first floor to other floors to get elevator to activate. Food was very good. One suggestion would be to provide wash clothes for bathroom.

I stayed at this hotel from 10 July and leaving early morning 16 July. I have enjoyed my stay here. The personell are very helpful. The breakfast is nice. You have a nice bar and restaurant inside the hotel. It is situated in a quite place outside downtown Merida, with a lot of transport opportunities to downtown or other places. Thank you for this time, hope to see this hotel again😊

First of all I have to admit that the reception girl was very nice and accommodating. I got a nice junior suite upgrade (Hilton Diamond) and the two star rating is not due to that. The problem is that there is no soundproofing at all and apparently people love to pull and push furniture on the blank tile floors at 5:30 in the morning and then all day afterwards on all of the other floors. You can absolutely listen to everything your neighbors are saying ,their cellphones, the ringtones and unless you’re a very social person ,which I am obviously not ,I don’t think I’m going to come back to this hotel ever. There is no bell boy and no room service at all. I’m glad I could book this at 10,000 points because it’s not worth $120 a night, absolutely not in a city where you can get a nice hotel for $45. By the way this is the hotel that is probably the farthest ever from the airport. There is not one supermarket or anything useful within the next 3 miles. You get a Cosco (no US members accepted, duuhhh) and one of those useless malls without even 1 luxury or at least interesting brand (unless you consider Zara,Stradivarius ,H&M and pull&bear luxury,Yawnnn) . Do yourself a favor, if you don’t get a rental car don’t take this hotel which is really faaaaaarrrr away. It’s not even Mérida anymore.I got another 5 day in points booking with them which I just canceled. God bless the points as I can cancel immediately without any penalties.I Couldn’t believe how bad it (the construction to be fair) was. And what about the grumpy bartender? Resuming: If you can’t sleep in a hotel, what’s the point? And…no Pool in city with 85F the whole year ! Come’ on !

I am form the US and only speak a little spanish. This was my 3rd visit oover a 6 year period and the fornt desk staff has always greated me well in english with my questions. The monring breakfast is the ebst breakfast I have had at any Hampton Inn anywhere in the world ( 6 am - 10 am). The elevator has a security key using your room key, to go up to your room. The rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable. Black out curtains keep the room coole rfor day tiem and dark in the room at night, which i need to sleep better. Also, the room is very quiet with no outsode morning noise form business nor vehicles. Request two keys if you need a cool room when you return at night. Your room key fits in a slot near the door that allows to the AC and lights to stay on. Most nights, I went for a walk for exercise and it is an easy walk to the the Luxury Mall, Costco or the museum with the Convnetion center just down the road. The streets are well lit, police patrol the roads and I felt safe (even saw many women walking alone at night). There is a food cort at the mall and an OXXO convientence store located on the north side of the mall. It was perfect for my needs, the price was right and I will stay there again.

Water (from rain) filtration in the room, hallway carpets extremely dirty with all kind of liquid stains. A lady with Covid like symptoms (heavy coughing and voice seriously drafted) attending the tables at the dinning area for dinner. Very old and damaged towels in the bathroom. Threatening desktop lady unwilling to send laundry until it was paid ($12) in a stay backed up by a Corporation. Asking for all the credit card details written and scanned to refund $12.00. Very dry and flavorless food at dinner. Never experienced such a bad stay. It seems that this hotel cannot match the quality standards of quality offered by Hilton anymore. I definitely won’t stay at this hotel anymore.

Beds were comfortable and room a good size. We thought it wouldn’t be too bad staying out of town but you can’t rely on ubers - the front desk can order taxis to be booked for a certain time and this was most reliable Option - it was also sometimes hard to get a taxi back from town. The breakfast is not great a tasteless and cold they have about 5 hot options but don’t book here for the breakfast.

The hotel is located less than 10 minutes away from downtown Merida. There was easy access to any type of transportation. The room was very clean and the beds are comfortable. Definitely will stay again at this hotel when visiting Merida.
