this was our first time to mexico and we were'nt sure what to expect. we stayed in this hotel on our way back to cancun to catch our plane. the staff was excellent. she made sure we had a reputable ride back to the airport and helped us with info on finding a atm machine and even had pepto for... A great hotel in a great, quiet location but close to all the action and near some of the best beach area in town. The staff is absolutely wonderful, helpful, and really goes out of the way to make sure all your needs are met.

This is a great boutique hotel in PDC. Its definitely not central - about 4 blocks walk to central Playa del carmen but the price is fantastic and the service is unbeatable. My husband and I enjoyed an excellent stay at Casa Ticul. We felt very welcomed at this quiet, charming hotel. The location was perfect for us as we enjoyed our walks around town. My second stay here. I love Playa, but this little hotel feels like home. It's modern, intimate, super friendly, close to everything, great price, not touristy, close to my favorite restaurants, minutes to the beach, yoga, and quiet!
