Very easy stay at this hotel. Only a small number of rooms so we were really taken care of. All the staff very nice and bi-lingual. The hotel is new and modern, only downside is the smallish bathrooms. Excellent location, even had a awesome bar at the top with views of the main drag and the ocean. Will return for...

I believe this is a new hotel so I am forgiving the massive leaks that they had to deal with while we were there. You see, there were torrential rain showers for a solid 3 days/nights. If they hotel staff weren't aware of leaks beforehand, they are now and will hopefully seal them off before the next downpour. The staff...

Well it all started with a great introduction from the reception desk which at the time was Rachelle. She is fabulous, easy on the eyes, very helpful, and patient since she put up with 3 over excited american men acting as boys. The rooms and hotel in general are nicely decorated, very cool feelling to them. Nice rooms with all...

Great location, just a block away from the beach and on the 5ta avenida. The staff is very friendly, and charming. It gets a little bit noisy at night due to the bar, but nothing unbearable, especially if you want to enjoy Playa´s night life. Would definitely go back again. Great place to recommend!!

Punto has a very nice feel to it when you enter the lobby and rooms. However, do NOT stay in Room 21! There is a strong sewer smell in this room, that they try to hide with a room air freshner in the bathroom. Fortunately, they switched us to a new room that did not have a sewer smell. Also,...

Returned from our trip one week ago and really liked this hotel! Was a bit nervous, as there were not any traveller photos to look at, but what you see on the hotel website is actually what you get in this case. Really can't beat the location; on the corner of 5th and 8th, right in the middle of all...

This place was great, The hotel is on a great spot in Playa del Carmen. Can't miss it. Modern rooms, but the bathroom was a little small.

This is a very nice hotel, very clean, and the staff is very helpful and extremely nice. Loved the room and the roof top terrace. It was very noisy with all the people going up and down the stairs to the terrace, and the music from the terrace and mariachi bands across the street at the restaurant, but I was...

My (new) wife and I just spent 5 nights at Hotel El Punto for our wedding, which was supposed to be held at La Azotea on November 7th. Kelly assisted us in every aspect of the wedding plans...as a matter of fact she did most of the planning for us. She booked the official, planned the menu, arranged the cake...
