Hostel Che is definitely a party hostel. We slept in the room next to the lobby and were kept up until 5:30am. Not a bad thing but not ideal when you have to get up at 6:00am. The rooms were nice and clean and airconditioned. The hostel is in a really good location - close to the main strip/beach and...

As noted, it's where all the action is at. If you want to party/drink each night then it's golden. Our dorm was pretty dirty, especially the bathroom. The shower backs up into the drain on the floor so it gets flooded if there are too many people showering in a row. Also the sink tap didn't work so had to...

Hostel Che has everything very close, the main bus stations, la 5 avenida (the main attraction of Playa del Carmen), clubs, beaches, restaurants . That would be i think the only reason i would recommend it. Oh no...also the parties they organized on the terrace were really cool. The stuff were young and restless, some of them really nice. I...

Stayed at this hostel for only one night, it's a good place to meet people with it's rooftop bar, but nothing really special. It's not really clean (stains in the bedsheets) but for one night it's okay. When I arrived there was heavy metal playing at the reception/common area downstairs same as during breakfast, which was perhaps a bit too...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Where do I start? Unfriendly staff, busy flirting with girls. Fixtures dont work well. The place is very run down and needs attention and major renovation. Toilet papers never stocked well, hand soap dispenser always empty. Wifi did not work, Kitchen is leaky, dirty and shabby. After looking at this you feel stupid to bring...

While the rooms were fine and the included breakfast was pretty good, the staff wasn't that friendly and the hostel wasn't that clean. There are other hostels that offer more for the same price so try to find them.

We can definitely not recommended this hostel. There are a lot of Locals and it's preety hard as backpacker to meet new people. A few people from the Hostelstuff don't speak english, it's getting hard if you have some questions and they don't want to understand your "foreign spanish" and english. BTW: The AC is since a while not working.Just...

I stayed 5 Nights in Ché and enjoyed every day. Met tons of travelers, and all of the people working their share tips and hints with you. This was my first Hostel in Latin America, and a very good choice, for a kick-off. The breakfast is continental with fruits and you can prepare your own eggs. I stayed 4 nights...
