You won't find better value! 2 blocks to the ocean. One block to the main drag tourist attractions. 3 blocks to ADO bus terminal. Close to the ferry terminal. Attached to a nice restaurant. Other eating is adjacent and a mini super on the next block.u can check out and they allow the use of the pool, washroom and lockers....

We came back again for a wonderful girls trip! We had 10 rooms this time - all with AC. We think the AC is a must have at this hotel but we are from Texas and are used to AC. The folks from the north seem to get by pretty well without AC. One of our first timers in the...

We stayed here on the last days of a tour through Guetemala, Belize and Mexico and this is without a doubt in the worst 3 hotel experiences I have had anywhere in over 100 countries I have visited. One of our party was in a room with bedbugs and whilst they changed her room the bed bugs went with her....

Casa tucán is a nice looking hotel in a very good location in playa. The street is great with nice little bars and restaurants that are much more chilled than the Main Street. I booked on the phone since I always like to speak with people and ask questions personally. When we arrived, my surprise was that we got a...

Stayed at Casa Tucan as a family (3 adults) in Dec 2016, They have a variety of room configurations, we stayed in a room with kitchenette. It had a nice outdoor area, the pool is wonderful (especially in the evening), kept very clean with daily housekeeping services. The price was reasonable and the onsite restaurant was very good and also...

I just got home from a two week vacation to Playa del Carmen. I stayed the whole time at Casa Tucan and it was marvelous. I asked in advance for a room with air conditioning and a bar fridge, which was big enough to keep drinks cold and store leftovers. My room was large, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. There was...

I was very impressed with the quality of this little hotel for the price. I stayed there in May and totally appreciated the A/C. There was a clean pool and a cute (and pretty good) restaurant attached. I stayed here as a last minute option when an Air bnb didn't turn out and I couldn't have been happier with it....

This rustic little place in the heart of Playa del Carmen is a great find for those of us who like staying in interesting, well managed, good value places when we travel. There are a variety of rooms/cabanas, some with a fan, others with air conditioning, in a tropical garden setting, the feature of which is a decent sized swimming...

Stayed here recently with Intrepid. This place is more of a hostel than hotel. Two of our group found bed bugs on/under the sheets. I got several bites and showed them to reception staff. When I asked for a new room they insisted that I pay the extra money for air con!!! Avoid.
