Ask mutely amazing resort. Super welcoming from the moment you arrive. Service from all staff members is top class and help you with anything and always with a smile on their faces. All restaurants serve food of a really good quality and many to choose from and all, except one I think, as part of the all inclusive price. Snack and drinks are also all good and nothing compromised in terms of quality. The coffee shop and their cakes is a cut above what you’d expect too. The swimming pool is also a great bouncing area however do get down early to get yourself a space to get in the middle of the party. Before I arrived I did see people mentioning / complaining about the amount of seaweed on the beach and wow!!! The beach is short and the seaweed was 2 feet high. For me, I didn’t really care as I am not a beach person but if it’s golden sands you crave then perhaps you need to reconsider. Entertainment at night was alright too and it was good enough and if you don’t like it then the town is right in your doorstep, which is cool too. I am giving the whole experience 9/10…

Two magical weeks in July 2022 at this magical resort. From start to finish, the staff, the fellow guests, the food, the rooms, the facilities, the entertainment, could not have been better. We made so many new friends. Special mention to Max, Alejandro, Luisa in the entertainment team who made every day so much fun and to Marisol at 24 hr all inclusive and Barefoot who's service and approach to customer relations was exceptional. We were very sad to leave and can't wait to go back. There is nothing to improve on. The management of this resort clearly have a great approach to hospitality and I imagine the staff are very well looked after given the smiles on all their faces. We even had a minor injury and had to see the medical team and they too were amazing. Thank you also to the Discover team who arranged fantastic excursions for us creating unforgettable memories. If you are looking for a 5 star all inclusive adult only resort with the ability to get out and about and explore, we can recommend this resort very highly.…

The beach was one of the best we have been on. The ocean was warmer than the pools. Gerardo was an excellent bar tender on the beach and Adriana Javier was very gracious and fun to be around. She attended our refreshment needs while on the beach. Was not impressed with the restaurants at this resort. Good service but Limited food choices. Sometimes food was cold.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Playa del Carmen Jan 21st to Jan 28th. We are a young 65 years old and stay at AL resorts often. The resort is beautiful with nice large rooms and well maintained landscape. it includes 6 restaurants with 1 being an additional charge restaurant. I was told that the, extra charge restaurant used to be an Italian restaurant that was included in the price, but was changed to an extra charge. The were fair but like the entire resort, I found them uncomfortably loud. The Spice Buffet and the seafood restaurant were my favorite. Unfortunately The Spice was closed for 3 days for repairs. This made it difficult to get dinner reservation on those days. The lobby was fun with couches and chairs and a good bar. The resort doesn't have an entertainment area so, the shows are in the lobby, again very uncomfortably loud. The main pool and swim up pool are are loud party atmospheres with drink service which was very attentive. It was sometimes a struggle to find chairs and the poolside beds were extra charge for $99 USD/ day. There is another quite pool with a nice relaxed feel. The beach was small with some erosion. The beds were included and provided the only shade. If you leave the bed unattended for over 30 minuets your items are removed. All and all it is a nice resort but the fight over chairs and the constant up charges for restaurants and beds and the noise, makes my return doubtful.…

Had a beachfront 1 bedroom suite. Beautiful room with nice balconies. Very good bed, great service including butler. Pools very nice and food and drinks very good. Room had pretty strong musty/ damp smell. Did get accustomed to it but not pleasant. Beachfront had lots of seaweed. Staff worked hard all day removing the seaweed and struggled to keep up. If looking for nice swimming beach this is not the place.

We visited the resort when it was the Royal and it was second to none in the area. The property is now owned by the Hilton and they have completely destroyed the entire resort. They charge an upgrade fee for multiple things and the quality of alcohol is absolutely horrible. The rooms used to have a Mexican decor and now looks like a generic Hilton hotel room. I am shocked that the management of this hotel do not realize how much damage they did to the reputation of this resort but I’m sure they do not care. The responses that management provides to negative comments are all generic and do not specifically address complaints. Please know that we are not picky travelers but do expect to get what we are charged for. Please do not waste your time or money at this establishment. There are several other resorts that far exceed the services and amenities provided by this hotel branded under the name of the Hilton. It’s a shame that this resort had the entire package at one time and sold out to less than adequate corporate chain hotel line that is only concerned with cutting corners to maximize profits.…

This resort is everything one could ever ask for in an All-Inclusive vacation. The resort is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful and spacious , the grounds are perfectly manicured and the location is great, nestled just off 5th Avenue in the heart of Playa Del Carmen. There are a variety of restaurants and bars that will NOT disappoint. The food is excellent in every restaurant and if there is something that you want that’s not on the menu, just ask the server and they will do their best to accommodate your request. The breakfast buffets are outstanding and poolside, there is the Barefoot Cafe, which serves a variety of lunch time food. Isaac and his team serve up some great food. There are also some great restaurants open for lunch , Pelicanos and Rincon , so if you choose to get a break from the sun, there are options for everyone. Asiana was a favourite for dinner and our server Ernesto Rodriguez was the best, he even does a few magic tricks at your table for some added entertainment. The staff at this resort are outstanding and can’t do enough to make your day perfect. The poolside staff, Reynaldo, Alejandra, Ronaldo and Erick, will make sure your never without a cold drink, Fernando will make sure you have a pool chair to enjoy your cocktail in. For all you coffee lovers…..Aromas is amazing. Francisco and Alexandra make the best Latte and Chai Tea or any beverage to your liking . There is a variety of snacks available and the best ice cream as well. It quickly became our favourite place to stop at several times a day. For the fitness crowd…..this is the place for you. Juan and his team provide a variety of activities to burn off a few calories, HIT classes, boot camps, spin classes in the pool and in the gym. There is also a full gym at the resort as well . From check in to check out, this resort is everything and more and will exceed your expectations. We have been to this resort 15 times or more and were sad to leave and will definitely be returning again.…

First class accommodation all the way. Great food in all restaurants, great pools, fantastic entertainment, great bars. Every employee was beyond friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 different rooms in 8 days, from ocean front walk out, to ocean front swim out, and the last night in their lower priced room by quiet pool, all perfect. Great beds, pillows. Their house cab was a New Zealand cab, nice, Jack Daniel’s, another Kentucky bourbon and Jameson, all great for us. Nice to have 5th ave shopping out front door, and ocean out the back. Will be back for sure.

"All-Inclusive" except!!!! Lots of exceptions. An addition of a 1/3# lobster tail to a $90 steak is $55. Only beer and wine delivered to room service. Top shelf alcohol is extra. In order to sit next to the pool you have to rent a a cabana which includes the water lounges. Amenities at this facility have diminished.

This has been an amazing holiday in all ways. The gym, the Entertainment, all classes, all restaurants and high class shows. Dont hesitate to book this for your vacation. We will be back for sure. Its located directly on the beach. You will feel good here
