My Husband and I were staying at the Platinum Yucatan Princess resort, a 10 minute beach walk from the restaurant and went for lunch twice. My husband and I were in Italy last summer and we agreed that the pizza was just as good at Coco's! Margaritas were fabulous and we also had the fish tacos and tostadas, all amazing....

When reading a review, I think it's important to put it into context. As individuals, we have different expectations, experiences that determine what we prefer. First off...we are a middle aged couple who have both traveled all over the world. And, we have been to many parts of Mexico over the past 15 years (Oaxaca, Mexico City, Veracruz, Chiapas etc)....

The place was just right for us. We came for a destination wedding at one of the big "all inclusive" resorts down the beach. We were so glad we didn't stay there. Coco's was quiet and the atmosphere was peaceful, unlike the crowded big resorts. The food was fabulous and reasonably priced. We ate a couple times at the big...

we stayed at this cute little bungalow just off the beach, the food at this hotel was so good and tasty, they use wood ovens to cook them in and are absolutely perfect !! The staff were absolutely great to us our whole time and we stayed there 9 nights. the only thing was we felt a little isolated as...

If you want to sit on a beach with a colored band on your wrist with 4000 of your closest friends this place is not for you. Coco's is a laid back quiet secret outside of Playa del Carmen. The owners Helmut and Silvia are incredible hosts that go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The accommodation's...

We were very pleased with our stay at Cocos Cabanas. The service was great, never had any problems. Because it is a small family owned business it was easy to get anything we needed and Silvia and Helmut were very hospitable. Their staff was also very helpful and went above and beyond for us. Our room was nice, had AC,...

This is it. Look no further. We have probably been to Coco's more than any other guests. I believe we are somewhere around trip #20. We love it and we will always come back at least once a year until there is no Coco's, which we hope never happens. Who we are? a 40 something couple from Minnesota. Why we...

Cocos is a lovely little rustic resort outside of pdc. The owner Sylvia and the staff are excellent. Food is great and rates are reasonable. Only room to improve would be better beach set up (such as better beach chairs and maybe some waiter service to the beach). As it stands now, you can set up at the pirate resort...

We stayed for 2 nights in coco's and were very warm welcomed by Sylvia and her staff. We had one of the new refurbished cabana's and it was a blast! The water from the shower is indeed a bit salty, but it didn't disturb us. The beach is 1 min walking and not as touristic as in the centre of...
