We spent 2 nights here and we're disappointed that we hadn't heard of it earlier in our trip. It was spotless, quiet, modern, breakfast was delicious and staff was friendly. It's also about 3 mins on foot from a convenience store, bike/ scooter rental place, bank, gas station, a few very clean and tasty taco stands a fully equipped fitness...

I liked this hotel, close to downtown Tulum but still not far from the beach either.. the rooms were big and had a good standard. I would gladly stay here again. Good prices and very helpful staff. Good hotel if you like diving/snorkeling activities also.

Beautiful place, very clean, extremely nice staff. Excellent breakfast included... can't beat that. pool is quite small but we were the only ones taking advantage of it, so it worked out pretty well. One of the few hotels that would take a family of 5.

Just back from our first trip to Mexico and I'd like to thank Carolina and Xibalba Hotel for making it so memorable. We stayed 9 days, with cenote diving and Maya ruins our main purpose of visiting the area. The hotel is small and friendly meaning you soon get to know the staff and they get to know you. I...

Located in town and near great restaurants and shopping. Clean rooms with breakfast. Beds are very firm. Small outdoor pool with lounge chairs. It is a scuba diving training hotel and they will take you on tours.

Very convenient if you want to do 2 dives in the morning and still have time in the afternoon to go to the beach, visit the Tulum Maya ruins or ... Pickup can also be organised. Unfortuantely, it didn't quite work out as planned for us but once they realised their mistake they ensured we were taken care of. Our...

We (Petra&Wolfgang) stayed 5 nights in Xibalba .... and this was too short. The hotel and diving school managed by Robby and Richie were the best place you can imagine for cenote diving in Tulum. The outstanding qualtiy of the diving school and (particular thanks to the guides Dante and Heira (not sure about right spelling) the private atmoshere made...

Richie greeted us warmly on arrival and gave us the tour of the hotel. The facilities are excellent, the rooms and beds spacious, and the breakfast on the upper terrace marvelous. Because the hotel caters for the diving fraternity it is certainly geared for these customers, however this hotel is ideal for anyone visiting Tulum. It is close to main...

Very friendly, and casual, small hotel. Breakfast was continental with eggs cooked by Anna, any way you wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. Even made us teas when we required throughout the day and did our washing.
