Stayed in the lovely treetop suite for 6 nights and it was great. The owner Tom really makes you feel welcome. He has all this amazing knowledge about what to do and where go. Ended up taking his advice on several occasions and very happy I did. You can really see he is truly passionate about the little piece of...

Chilled out is the ONLY way to roll!! Super stoked to help you with all of your adventures and glad you got to accomplish so much during your stay. Lenny says MEOW which is Tulumian for "Come back soon!" :)

This place is cozy, spotless and friendly. Owner Tom makes you feel right at home and is a wealth of knowledge, help and advice. The community area rocks with friendly travelers from all over (US, Argentina, Australia). This place is not pretentious or upscale - so if you're looking for a resort keep looking. These r clean, charming rooms with...

Many of the other reviewers have hit all the highlights of this place, so I will just focus on the one thing that sets this place apart from most places. That would be the owner, Tom. Tom has built himself a great property in the jungles of Tulum, but his presence there is what makes this place amazing. He was...

Our three-generation family of six visited Las Palmas Maya in April 2015 for a week. My husband and I had visited Tulum several times in the past and stayed beachfront, so knew the lie of the land. Tulum has definitely been 'discovered' in the last ten years and prices have of course risen. If you are looking for great value,...

Tom and the the rest of the staff made our visit to Tulum! They were so helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging trips. The property and rooms are extremely well maintained and clean. The kitchen/common were a great touch too! I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed only two nights here, and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Our host Tom was incredibly helpful and always happy to go the extra mile. I would recommend at least 5 nights in Tulum, and hire a bike to get around. Looking forward to our next trip!!

Hi Meg! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with the world - it was a pleasure meeting you and you are right - 2 days is never enough! Between the Caribbean Sea, Sian Ka'an Biosphere, Akumal, Tulum Ruins, Coba Ruins and all of the cenotes - there is *never* enough time. We look forward to your return and appreciate...

Had a great time in the treetops suite. Very close to the beautiful beach and lots of restaurants/cafes. The big fans in the room ensured that we got a very pleasant sleep each night. Tom and his staff are extremely helpful and did everything they could to make our stay one to remember!

My stay here was magical, the owner Tom was so helpful and became a life long friend we will never forget! The place is completely self sustainable, something I greatly respect and appreciate. So glad you got to see the behind the scenes operations of how we manage to run the property off the grid. It is not always easy, but it works and it is good for the environment! We are looking forward to your return in November, too! Thanks again for taking the time to write.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts about your stay at LPM. We do provide a very economical, clean and friendly stay for those wishing to have a true Tulum experience. It is a very natural environment, being in the jungle and hopefully your little "critter" visits didn't impact your overall enjoyment. We appreciate the feedback!
