After reading a couple of reviews around here, I believe people should honestly revise their standards and expectations. This place delivers exactly what they promise, if not more! My cabana, Elo Jr, had private WC and shower (with perfectly hot water) and was 100 usd per night. Good luck finding something like that, right on the water, in Tulum! The...

This was our second time at this place. My husband and I were there a few years back with another couple and stayed in the The Elo suites and it was fantastic. That one is a duplex side by side style great for couples and families traveling together. This time we stayed in Celia Cruz which was literally 100ft from...

1. It was interesting the electricity for the rooms is shut off at midnight; however, not so in the garden area. In fact, Saturday night (March 18) the electricity in that area was on all night. 2. Loud music played until after midnight, somewhere on the beach area, Saturday night. After 1:00 a.m., your bar area also had loud, thumping...

This is a charming little spot to spend a few hours at. It is a very relaxed beach club with a decent breakfast fare. Drinks were not very good, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The beach is also a lot calmer here compared to the beaches on the southern end.

This hotel is great! Budget friendly, gorgeously built right into the beach landscape, and most rooms have stunning views of the ocean and even private lounge chairs. They take great care of you providing free drinking water to each room, flashlights for nighttime, water dishes to wash your feet before entering your room, and many more! In the evening it...

Where to start? The property is beautiful, the staff is fantastic and the cabanas, small but romantic and very comfortable. The beach is now one of the best in all of Tulum (the other side of the hotel zone has been affected by the tides and the beach is not too wide) and perfect to spend the day with an...

Playa esperanza was the highlight of our trip around the yucutan peninsula. We found this place by accident while walking around Playa Paraiso and immediately fell in love with such a magical place. We stayed there for three incredible nights in early September. Great atmosphere, barefoot all the time, amazing breakfast, quiet charming and romantic. A pure natural beauty! No...

The staff is very friendly and willing to help at all times. Definitely, the staff makes the difference. The food is really good. The location is great. Near good restaurants and 15 minutes walking to the ruins.

I stayed with my boyfriend for a night in this wonderful hotel, we discovered the place and decided to cancel our stay in another place because we just fell in love with the place. The atmosphere has something magical, the antique furniture on the white sand, the cabannas / bungalow with view on the beach, the amazing view and sunset...

We found this gem of a place last year, and knew exactly where we wanted to go back to this year. It's beautiful, simple, and relaxing; and the staff is wonderful. While we enjoy the rustic lodging and shared bathrooms (you can get your own as well), we found some basics lacking and in need of attention. Our railing was...
