The room which we got was very dark, there was almost no sunlight at all in there, it felt a bit like a dungeon and was smelling strange. The AC was so loud that you could get instantly headache from it. Not very nice place to stay while you are on holidays. When we arrived they told us that if...

We went to Tulum super excited about our staying at the Andrea's hotel.. But what a disappointment! It sound so good with the including bicycles and the price was more then affordable, although it was a bit far away from Tulum.. We arrived to Andrea's around 12:30, and it seamed like the staff were really disturbed by our presence. We...

I have been travelling a lot in my life, stayed at many different hotels. But this was by far the worst experience I have ever been through. We thought this were nice cause they had free bicycle, so we got there at 1 PM and asked to get checked in. They said they didnt have our booking and that we...

If you're just looking for an inexpensive, clean, comfortable room, you'll still be disappointed! Ugly & unclean. Fixtures in lousy condition. They demand payment in pesos and don't honor pre-payment confirmation. They do not explain policy and are combative. This is not a 3 star place and anyone who gave it a good review is probably high!

Pros: cute cantina, located at entrance to ruins. Cons: bizarre policy about payment in cash - even though hotels.com assured me paid. Ugly rooms w/ paper signs taped to walls. Couldn't connect to wifi. Dilapidated bathroom not cleaned well😟.

Pros: 10 minute walk to Tulum ruins. 10 minute bicycle ride to beautiful white sand beach. Strong WiFi. Cons: Must pay cash even if you used a credit card to make the reservation. Complimentary bicycles were rusty, old, and barely usable. Staff blasts music from the restaurant/bar area until about 10 at night and then starts it up again around...

The place is a very good place to stay. I was expecting much less because of the cost of the room. I was specially surprised that the hotel was very clean and safe. That is What I expect from a hotel.

The price seemed a bit high for the low quality of the hotel. I am guessing that they jacked up the price because it was the week of New Years. Be aware that you have to pay IN CASH when you arrive. I recommend that you get cash from an ATM at the airport in Cancun when you arrive so...

The biggest problem is not the hotel, the huge problem is the personell, who shows totally lack of service. They use suppression techniques to you from the begging and they even don't to understand english. If you have booked and prepaid through a booking site you still have to pay in cash, pesos, to the grinning lobby personell.

Far away from the city center - it's almost impossible to eat or drink something at night around 9-10 p.m. (even the hotel reception/restaurant was closed) Unpleasant and barely English speaking staff who didn't give a damn about you and didn't even hide it. They were showing interest only when they wanted us to pay. Constant problems with hot and...
