It is very rare that we bother to go online and rate a place as there are only a handful of places we would ever whole heartedly reccommend - but this is one of them and we have travelled A LOT!

I found Posada via tripadvisor and it is exactly as it is said on the website. It is not a fansy resort by the beach, but what it offers is the hospitablity of the owners (Sarah, Marty and Gary), comfortable and clean rooms and a...More
Like the majority of reviewers I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is not located on the beaches of Tulum but these are in easy reach (50 pesos short taxi ride away) and it is worth staying for a few days in the town just...More
When we arrived at Posada we knew we were at the right place.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Posada Luna Del Sur. Good location for walking into town for meals or shopping and an easy drive to ruins or the beach. The room was very comfortable and large, with a refrigerator and a water jug. However, the...More

Yes, breakfast is included, and it is simply lovely! Fresh orange juice, coffee, choice of pastry or baked good to start, and then your choice of main breakfast entree from a list of magnificent choices. Each item is prepared to order and simply delicious! Plus, the breakfast is served on the rooftop dining area, which is charming, and staff is incredibly kind, warm, and helpful.

Hi Doc! We are 4KM from the beach, which is about 5 minutes by cab, probably 2 more minutes more than Aldea Zamas. Our location is great, as Tulum is not all about the beaches--there are many activities to do in town, so ¨convenience of location¨ does not make much sense to us. The town has superior restaurants and night-life and way better value than the beach. Most our guests that want to enjoy the beach, take the 5 minute, $5 cab drive and enjoy the beach during the day and then return to a fully equipped room at our establishment versus an overpriced beach shack with no amenities. Keep in mind our prices are way lower than the beach, which range from $500-$1500 per night. I encourage you to check out the FAQ section on our website for answers to everything and everything about our hotel, even this question. Cheers!
