My mom and I stayed a Mezzanine in mid-March. Settled on a cliff above the sugary sands of Tulum's beach, Mezzanine provides a perfect home-away-from-home in paradise. Falling asleep and waking up to the waves right outside our room was lovely. I strongly recommend a sunrise walk down the beach to view the ruins (after a cup of tea delivered...

I've checked out about 12 hotels during my time in Tulum. What makes Mezzanine so great is the location and the staff. I've decided to stay there each time I go down. I recommend room number 10 with its killer balcony and view of the beach and ocean. If you like a boutique style hotel with a quiet and relaxed...

The Mezzanine was wonderful- we really enjoyed it. The staff is incredibly attentive and made everything perfect for us. Food is great, room was lovely, staff is A+ We recommend you take a tour of the ruins and the cenote- and let the staff set up some of your dinners. Jazz night at their sister property is really nice. Massage...

Great little place right on the beach. Tons to do in the city of Tulum including snorkeling, swimming, touring ancient ruins and cenotes. The food and drinks at Mezzanine were amazing as was the service. Every morning the staff delivers fresh coffee to your room and every evening they deliver tea which was a nice touch. I'm looking forward to...

My sister and I traveled to Tulum for a week long vacation. We had never been before but had heard amazing things and after doing our research decided upon Mezzanine. We absolutely made the right decision. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by Gustavo, the concierge who welcomed us with open arms and margaritas. We felt at home right away...

The hotel only has 9 rooms which is one of the best features. It's about 6km from Tulum town and will cost about 70-90 pesos by taxi from the ADO bus station. From beginning to end, the entire experience was exceptional. The concierge team were all amazing and really welcoming. Gustavo was wonderful and helped us rent a scooter. He...

Tulum was our last destination on our 2 week honeymoon in the yucitan. We went for Mezzanine because we figured we'd want a hotel on the beach. We got there to find the beach infested with seaweed and the beach was a NUDE BEACH! not so pleasant to see topless girls everywhere your head turns. It is a bit far...

Lovely little hotel on the more 'real' end of the beach at Tulum with a friendly and 'buzzy' vibe. We only stayed here as our other hotel was full on the last night of our trip but it was a great find. Our room was not ocean-facing but was very smart and well appointed. The bed was excellent. The staff...

It was perfect. Beautiful beach, crystalline water, quiet. Great restaurant (we ate our way through the menu). Really wonderful staff. Thank you Jimena, Maggie, Gus and Laura and all for taking such care. A walk to the Maya ruins of old Tulum and a cheap taxi ride to the boutique/bar/restaurant end of town. Beautiful view from our room looking out...
