La Selva Mariposa was one of the best lodging experiences I have ever had. They were flexible with meeting with me and my fiance, after we attended a wedding near Cancun, and picked us up for the drive down to Tulum. We rented a car through them and were able to visit all the ruins in the area as well...

We appreciate the wonderful review that you posted about your stay last March. You really need to come back as we have created even more interesting and charming little corners nestled around the grounds since your visit in 2011.

I read the reviews on La Selva Mariposa, and based on those comments, we booked three nights there Jan28-30. We were happy the moment we walked into the beautiful jungle oasis. Without going into too much detail, because there is so much to say... i will try to give you the basics. There is nothing that has not been thought...

Thanks for the positive review about your stay with us at LSM. It is helpful when guests read the trip advisor reviews and our web site before a visit. This helps them realize "we are not on the beach" and you have come for a "mayan jungle experience." You can't get better than PERFECT, but we will continue to upgrade...

We had a wonderful time at La Selva Mariposa! It's perfectly located, so that there are many activities in the area but the bed and breakfast itself feels like it's secluded away in the jungle. The beach is a short drive away. We spent one memorable morning touring the property and being amazed by all that is hidden away in...

We are so pleased that LSM provided a great launching station for all the activities you and your family wanted to see while in the area. We are pleased that you decided to stay your entire week with us. Thanks for the kind words and we look forward to your return.

I stayed here as part of group of 2 couples this month and I would like to say that I was amazed ! I have worked hard doing farming and construction (among countless other labor intensive jobs)all my life and this La Selva Mariposa shows the kind of labor of love that only long hours and a vision can produce!...

A lovely review from a lovely couple. We were delighted to meet you and often commented on your attention to one another. Nice to see. Glad we provided a setting where you felt so at home and relaxed. Do come back.

This place was something special, from the private pool outside your bedroom door to the open ceiling bathroom it was a cool place. It is a secluded location but you can walk to the highway and walk across the street to a sit down restaurant and just down the street from the restaurant is a taco place that had the...

My husband and I stayed in Suite #2 while my brother and his wife stayed in Suite #3. The rooms provided privacy along with space for being together for our visit. The thoughtfulness evident in the many small details make this place extra special. The rooms were unique, tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean. The grounds were chock full of...

Wow! I was expecting this to be a very special property/experience after ready the reviews, checking out the video and 'chatting' with the owners Mari and Luis but I can stay I was still blown away by the property and the attention to all the minute details (like individual ready lights with dimmers above your pillows/screens built into the doors...

Thanks so much for the outstanding review. We loved meeting you and your friends even though the stay was not near long enough. We are glad that you mentioned the choices of places to eat near by in Macario Gomez and the great shopping near by. We think the best shopping in the Riviera Maya is right here along the...

Whether you seek solitude or activity, sun or shade, a bike ride or even a swim in your own, little cenote, La Selva Mariposa has it all. We came seeking rest, after a busy month of travel. Immediately, we felt at home. Not only did Lou and Mari greet us with smiles as if we were old friends, but they...

This is a charming and exceptionally well run B&B. The rooms are very clean, artistically decorated and there is great attention to detail. They have provided whatever you need to explore the jungle, beach , ruins and more ....even a " carry all" bag. The B&B is well located for exploring the area and to access the beautiful, uncrowded Tulum...

This is probably the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in. So nice and the breakfasts are lovely. I quess it is best for couples, but we had our 3 year old with us and it worked fine.
