A 3 star review doesn't sound good but the hotel is not pricey either. The hotel is neat and clean with a friendly staff. It is the only hotel in the centre of town and you can walk to many historical monuments. Don't expect anything fancy and you will not be dissapointed either

There are very few hotels in Chanderi and it is quite a good option considering the limitations. It is clean, quiet, the staff is local semi professional but helpful, unobtrusive and polite. The Badal Mahal Gate and mosque are in the vicinity of the hotel. I would recommend this place to any traveler whose basic goal is sightseeing and to spend...

I think this is the only hotel in Chanderi and if you are staying here, then you are probably touring with Intrepid or one of their companies. I really liked this hotel. Wifi is available in reception (not in the room – but then this is not unusual). The room was nice and comfortable. We had a nice view of...

Few choices to stay in Chanderi so your choices are limited. It was very nice looking in the lobby and reception area and the rooms were not that different. Clean, very friendly staff, hard bed, hot water etc. Your basic 2 star hotel. We had no complaints at all but if you expect a 5 star bathroom, this is not...

This hotel is basic and simple. There is a lovely lawn courtyard and garden. Food was good. As any traveller in India (should) know, a roof over your head, hot water, and food puts you well ahead of a large portion of the population.

This is one of the few tourist hotels in Chanderi is quite a good place if you keep the local place in mind. It is clean, quiet, the staff is basic with its services but unobtrusive and polite. Most of all, there is a good vibe about the place and the two days I stayed there, I loved the ambiance,...

I last stayed here on an Intrepid trip and the hotel was VERY basic. Ten years on a new wing has been added. It's still a simple hotel with very firm beds, but is luxury compared to last time. Breakfast is simple and tasty. Staff are kind although obviously lacking experience. Wifi is available as is a clothes washing service....

Stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour. I don't think the hotel caters for too many people as I think they had staff come in especially for our group as when I got up early in the morning to use the internet in the lobby I found the staff had slept there overnight on the floor . WiFi worked...

The rooms are basic and it's a good idea to bring a sink stopper to cover over the mothballs in the sink drain. They are there to keep cockroaches out, so I was thankful for them even though I needed to cover the scent. Breakfasts were quite good and the serving staff were quick and accommodating. They helped our guide...

I think that this is the only Hotel in Chanderi. The rooms are nice and roomy but the sleep quality is bad, wooden bed covered by a thin mattress. The bathroom is big enough and typical Indian, with a western style toilet though. Service was good and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was basic but filling enough, the dining room...
