Great place. Bit out of the way though, making you a captive audience. Friendly and welcoming and a wonderful old house. Good food and good hosts. Proper luxury, including a lack of price lists; the latter can take you a bit by surprise.

After three weeks of full on travelling we arrived at the Old Rectory fairly wiped out, but within minutes Claire had put us at ease and organised us for dinner. This was probably our best meal in the UK, and breakfast was great as well....More
Lovely house, Charming hosts Claire and John. Michelin standard dinner at non Michelin prices. Probably the best breakfast choice in UK. Lovelu bedroom and drawing room for TV etc. A G&t to blow the doors off on arrival. Gotta go folks email@example.com
