Detailed Reviews
On a solo trip to Norfolk I stayed at St Judes B&B for one night and it didn’t disappoint! The room traditionally decorated andwas big, clean and comfortable. The bathroom looking almost new too. The breakfast kept me going most of the day with no complaints! The location is fantastic for if you are visiting the Sandringham estate, for local walks or as a base for exploring Norfolk. The owner was friendly, knowledgeable and coiled have spent hours chatting to her - her dog is also brilliant and friendly too! Would highly recommend

Loved this cottage, Gwen was a fantastic host. Was nice to meet Luba the dog too. Bedroom was big comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was very tasty, Full English along with fresh fruit, cereals and yogurt. We stayed here for the Billy Ocean concert at Sandringham, the walk was about 15 mins. Definitely recommend St Jude’s and would stay again, love this part of the country.

Absolutely fantastic stay, Gwen was a fabulous host so attentive. Breakfast was lovely, full english, fresh fruit and yogurt and cereals. Our room was spotless and very cosy. We stayed for the Robbie Williams concert and the sandringham access tour and it was a perfect location to walk there. Gwen even offered us a lift but was not able to due to her car being blocked on her driveway by another guest. She has private parking available. Luna the dog was an adorable bonus, we will miss her. There is a pub (The Feathers) a five minute walk away which does lovely food too. We would definitely recommend and stay again, Thanks Gwen.

St Judes is a wonderful B&B. Gwen is a magnificent hostess. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our full English breakfast was delicious and set us up for a day of exploring a wonderful part of England.
Will definitely stay there again.

Just returned from a 2 night business stay at St Jude's.
Lovely place to stay made to feel very welcome by Gwen and Jaz.
Breakfast great and would certainly visit again. Very good location.
Slept very well and it was lovely hearing an owl outside my window which helped me drift off even more.

My wife and I stayed here last night. We've stayed in so many adequate, but soulless and anodyne places that it was a delight to find that a place like this can still survive. If you want a "hotel" atmosphere, with trained uniformed staff, and you put a high priority on "en suite" facilities, then you risk never having the pleasure of enjoying such a gem as this.
Garden is a delight. Nice upstairs bathroom plus downstairs shower room means there's no problem in that area. Breakfast exceptional; you know that you're eating exactly the same food that your discerning host prefers - great tasting top quality bangers & bacon from a highly respected local butcher, and a great choice of preserves for your toast (we chose a deep & zingy 3-fruit marmalade and a superb apple & ginger jam).
But the loveliest aspects of staying at St Jude's are more difficult to define: a genuine welcome; warm Victorian rooms with unique and perfectly chosen furniture and great comfy beds; a chance to play in the back garden with the owner's charming dog; and an overall experience of having visited the home of a friend rather than "put up overnight in a B&B". Certainly I have never before flicked on a "wireless" on top of the loo cistern and listened to the radio while relaxing in the bath!

Gwen, the owner/landlady, provided a warm welcome, as did Jazz; her Welsh Collie - watch his method of nudging the ball down the stairs.
Good pubs (tasty food and libations!) only a very short walk away. Rooms were clean, well presented and included wifi. The bed was comfortable which led to a good nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious (thank Gwen - kept me going all day). It was a pleasure to enjoy Gwen's traditional B&B. No hesitation in recommending St Jude B&B

We only had a brief one night stay at St Jude's but it was memorable. Gwen's house is full of interest and there are plenty of books to look at. The double room was clean and comfortable. And the cooked breakfast and fruit salad was delicious. Do make sure you visit the delightful garden and play with Jaz the collie.

Although a little tricky to find, a warm welcome awaits your arrival. This is an exceptionally fine Victorian house, spacious, warm, cosy and full of character. There is every convenience available, including wi-fi, which is a must for me. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful - prepared by Gwen from local ingredients cooked to order and will keep you going all day. Ignore the expensive hotels and lodges and experience quality English hospitality and amenity as it used to be.

This b&b is run in an impressively well thought out fashion. Everything works perfectly - the room was light and airy and the breakfast was beautifully cooked. Fresh milk was available which is a great bonus for tea drinking.
