An awesome stay with delicious food and tremendous services. I stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and spacious. The swimming pool was also very clean. The owner of the hotel (Mahesh) was very kind with us. Surely a go for everyone. A best place to hide from your busy city life !!!!

I visited this hotel as part of a tour. It was gorgeous. Our room opened on to a lovely open, grassed area with a swimming pool. Views from the upper floors are beautiful. Our room was very large and the bathroom was huge. A lot of history here in the village, which is largely untouched by modern times. Our buffet...

We went here for our meals during our stay in Alsisar. The staff is courteous and made us feel so at home even though we weren't house guests. We even got our meal on the go packed from them. The food took time as they prepare it fresh and to our taste. We noticed that this place was popular with...

I was amazed to see such a fantastic resort in a small village of Alsisar. Good rooms, great food, excellent hospitality. I strongly recommend this resort to short trip lovers. Don't miss the village trip on camel carts. A lovely countryside awaits you.

Arrived as part of a tour group and first impressions were good. The rooms are large but a little shabby and unclean. Don't expect hot water but that seems to be the standard in mid range hotels in India. Luckily it was 35 degrees but a cold shower in the morning is a bit challenging. The pool was lovely and...

Stayed just for one night as part of a tour. Room old style but quite nice. There was only four of us in the hotel so other facilities were limited. Staff friendly and helpful. They took our evening meal order in the afternoon to buy in fresh vegetables etc.Wi--fi was free and the prices for beer and other drinks were...

When we arrived, I wasn't impressed. The check-in process (copying of passports, filling in forms, etc.) appeared to take forever and we simply wanted to get to our room. However, later on we realised that everything else seemed to be running quite smoothly and that the staff were actually helpful and friendly. The room was quite basic, but large. The...

We stayed in February and the room was cold and a bit bleak, in Summer it might be more acceptable. The food was a bit limited and uninspiring and the waiting staff wore their outside clothes, jeans and jackets.

A beautiful and charming property that reflects the Rajasthani culture. The rooms are spacious and clean. The rooms could use more maintenance but overall the stay was comfortable. I visited in the winter and the room was heated which was very nice! They provided a small buffet breakfast. Located a few hours from Jaipur and in a small town with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Alsisar is one of the finest, yet untouched gems of Shekhawati. This we have endeavored to polish, protect and preserve for you, the connoisseurs, who care and feel for the great inheritance bequeathed by events of history. The hundred-room haveli built by Indrachand Kejriwal in a ten-acre compound extending to ancient wells built to grand scale, welcomes guests to stay in splendor of the past with modern comforts. Walk around the village to explore the art hidden in the profusion of mansions and temples dotting every street. Sit around the village pond chatting with inquisitive kids, artisans and wizened old folks. Ride a camel for dinner on the dunes, in the backdrop of folk dances and lilting tunes. Come, indulge yourselves with the legendary Rajasthan hospitality. While you are pampered, the village is reinvigorated, blowing off the sand from hidden frescoes and reviving the rich traditions of the bygone era. ... more   less
