We only had one night at this Haveli and wished it was more. The food was excellent and our room very large and comfortable. We just wish that someone had said they do not provide face cloth's. The hand paintings on the walls were really good and gave you a feel that it was more than a hotel. Highly recommend...

Difficult to reach. A long drive through the countryside. Right in the midst of a village. A very clean & comfortable hotel with a nice swimming pool in the midst. Made to look like an ancient palace it is situated inside village. The rooms are clean with nice bathroom. Food was plentiful not great. The staff is friendly. One must...

Alsisar is an ancient small town that is served by just two main hotels - Indra Vilas is the better value of the two but was very comfortable and clean. Our room was huge and the bathroom facilities excellent. In the scorching heat the clean swimming pool was vert welcome. The hotel is right in the town offering an easy...

It was a long and hard drive to get there. The hotel is in the village, we went for a nice walk looking at the old historic buildings. Rooms were nice and we had the quietest night in India there. Both the dinner and breakfast were fine. Wifi only available in reception.

Rest that's all you can do in the lap of nature in this small village/ town.. refresh self with fresh oxygen, blue sky and lots of sunshine..friendly people to assist you with needs.. don't look for luxury as here luxury is defined in its own way..

All very unique rooms, no one is the same. Great location to explore old forgotten village. I would not recommend the massage "spa". Not very clean and massage therapist did not seem to be trained. Nice courtyard and pool setting.

An awesome stay with delicious food and tremendous services. I stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and spacious. The swimming pool was also very clean. The owner of the hotel (Mahesh) was very kind with us. Surely a go for everyone. A best place to hide from your busy city life !!!!

I visited this hotel as part of a tour. It was gorgeous. Our room opened on to a lovely open, grassed area with a swimming pool. Views from the upper floors are beautiful. Our room was very large and the bathroom was huge. A lot of history here in the village, which is largely untouched by modern times. Our buffet...

We went here for our meals during our stay in Alsisar. The staff is courteous and made us feel so at home even though we weren't house guests. We even got our meal on the go packed from them. The food took time as they prepare it fresh and to our taste. We noticed that this place was popular with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Alsisar is one of the finest, yet untouched gems of Shekhawati. This we have endeavored to polish, protect and preserve for you, the connoisseurs, who care and feel for the great inheritance bequeathed by events of history. The hundred-room haveli built by Indrachand Kejriwal in a ten-acre compound extending to ancient wells built to grand scale, welcomes guests to stay in splendor of the past with modern comforts. Walk around the village to explore the art hidden in the profusion of mansions and temples dotting every street. Sit around the village pond chatting with inquisitive kids, artisans and wizened old folks. Ride a camel for dinner on the dunes, in the backdrop of folk dances and lilting tunes. Come, indulge yourselves with the legendary Rajasthan hospitality. While you are pampered, the village is reinvigorated, blowing off the sand from hidden frescoes and reviving the rich traditions of the bygone era. ... more   less
