We went to Alsisar Palace for a weekend getaway from Delhi. Though it is drive for around 8 hrs, the palace proved to be well worth it. Very neatly maintained, with big rooms having anti rooms and a study table, it gave us a princely feeling. Also, being the home for the annual music festival called Magnetic field, we were...

This is a great getaway within 8 hours drive from delhi. Even though the approach roads are not great overall, the place is worth the wait. It’s a classic shekhawati palace converted into a heritage hotel and is a lovely property to spend a weekend. They have multiple restaurants, each with its own character, an operational pool and lots to...

We spent one night here as part of a tour of this part of India. It is a converted palace and is an extraordinary place to stay. It is situated in a quite small village/town that was not marked on any map I had but there are other palaces in the area as well, one of which, just across the...

Only stayed here for one night and so could not take in all the beautiful rooms, but what we saw was like being transported back to the early 1900s.The restaurants decor was fabulous impossible to describe, surfice to say fit for royalty, its a pity the food did not match which we thought was very normal. The bedrooms seemed to be all...

Went for a weekend getaway with my husband. It's a good property maintained well. The staff is overall good but the food is average and a bit overpriced for the quality and taste(buffet- 1400 pp not worth the quality served). They offer buffets mainly in all the meals unless you tell them in advance for a specific dish you want...

What a gorgeous, atmospheric place! The hotel is superb, the rooms beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant itself is amazing with all its paintings, furniture and decorations and the food was excellent. There is a swimming pool but it was a bit cool for swimming. The only issue was the weak wifi. The village is lovely with old hovels and...

A beautiful, serene hotel in the middle of a small village. The sheer beauty of this hotel is spell-binding. The peace is amazing. The rooms are Incredible!!! What an oasis of calm especially after the frenetic city of Jaipur. Quite expensive for drinks though. A great spot for sunsets.

Located in the Shekhawati Region of Rajasthan about 20 kms (35 minute drive) from Jhunjhunu, this Palace has been converted into a grand hotel. Beautifully maintained, with an Ornate Lobby and Dining Area, a very modern Sitting Lounge designed on an American Army Pattern. The Outdoor Swimming pool is really wonderful. The Staff is extremely courteous and follows the traditional...

Special thanks to the GM for taking the time to show us various rooms and we eventually ended up staying at the best room at the Mahal. I want to also make special mention of all the staff and the great food from the kitchen. We had a very memorable time and will cherish your good service and kindness.

As you drive through the village to get here you would never expect to enter such a beautiful place. The building is beautifully restored and has some of the best decorated rooms and frescos that we encountered during our we stayed during our whole trip. Evening meal was a buffet and we had no issue with the service throughout. Our...
