We had a very restful stay. We were lucky to have good weather at the end of October, and were able to enjoy Kouchibouguac National Park in a shoulder period, which meant the park seemed like our private playground. The accomodations were comfortable and right at the edge of the park. It was an easy cottage to heat, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The owners are friendly and helpful and there are some pretty special dining options within a half hours drive, as well as groceries just up the road. We will be back.
Very conviently located right next to Kouchibouguac National Park. In fact, there's a bike/hiking trail right next to the property that takes you right to the park visitor centre. We spent our time either biking trails or on the beaches at KNP, and went back to our cabin for evening meal and sleep. The 'wilderness loft' cabin we stayed in was part of a duplex or triplex of similar cabins. Clean and comfortable, with wifi and good tv cable. Coffee maker, 2 mini fridges, stovetop, and microwave. Appeared to be recently renovated. Not a luxury resort, but a decent place to rest up. Would come again.
We had a 1 queen bed room. It was a large room with refrigerator and table with chairs. The bathroom was also a nice size. Though it is an older facility everything was very clean. When checking in they were very friendly and helpful as to places to eat and recommendations on what to see and do in the national park and the best time of day for various sites/ activities.
the place is very inviting and at the reception stuff made all the effort to make our stay better .... the unit was well lighted and the ability to make food is good... the bedroom in the top flor was little bit low (watch your head).. and b aware of going down ti the firs flor (there is small light there .. turn it on for the night)
We rented a cottage for a couple of days and loved our stay. Warm greeting, clean place, comfortable bed, plenty of room for two. Close by to a beautiful beach and cycling paths. The hosts were very generous with their free firewood which we benefited from everything night we were there. We would have liked to extend our stay.
Amazing place to stay, home away from home. We stayed in the small cottage as it was the two of us and we had all that we needed there. Our dog loved the area for walks and being close to the little towns where we were able to visit family and they could come visit us as well. We will definitely be back again and stay here! Videos showed exactly what we got and the owners and staff were wonderful!
Easy access from highway and close to National Park Entrance. Very cozy space. Private backyard with fire pit. Cottage was very well equipped. Free firewood which was an awesome perk!!! We very much enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
My husband and I had a great weekend at Xperience Kouchiboquac. Very peaceful and relaxing. Stress free check in and check out. They are right next door to the park and we enjoyed touring around the area. We will definitely be back! Janey and Allan
Definitely be back! Enjoyed my stay! Had everything to work with! All you bring is your food for the cabins. Extremely relaxing get away. Friendly staff. beautiful cabins. Pet friendly kid friendly...
Our stay was decent but definitely wasn't comfortable. We stayed in the wilderness Lodge and expected the sofa bed/fouton sleeping arrangements however we expected some comfort. The fouton was extremely uncomfortable. It wasn't flat, more like a "v" so both of us were rolling to the center all night. It's also a typical cheap fouton so the "mattress" was very thin and uncomfortable. What they don't tell you is the cabins are not private. They are 4 in one building and other four plexes are very close. Outdoor activities such as a campfire or BBQ are not private, it's basically like having a public fire with everyone else only feet away. They also say they have WiFi and do admit that it's slow, and they're right, we basically had none. For the price they charge we expected more. To be fair, there were a few positives, a small but functional kitchen with 2 mini fridges. A cute little corner table and the bathroom was decent as well.…
