Stayed here for a few days at the beginning of October and loved our stay. People were so friendly and cottages had everything we needed. Views were incredible and location to restaurants and groceries was a close walk away. Property was very clean and well kept. Wifi reception was very good as well.
This a very comfortable and nice spot to stay if you plan a visit in Kouchibouguac National Park and the surroundings. The owner of the B&B also operates an excellent fine food restaurant. He also organizes cruises on St-Louis river that allows passengers to see seals and many kind of birds.
The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed in the Barnhouse as a family, from Nova Scotia. The place was clean and spacious and a beautiful view of the river. The grounds were well maintained. They are opening a fine dining restaurant very soon and have a French Chef with a great menu. I would recommend this place 100%😊 Also the National park is 5 minutes away.
This is a cozy lovely B and B with friendly hosts, a lovely breakfast in the dining room over looking the river and bright with sunshine when we were there. The room was very comfortable with individual thermostats in the room and bathroom. We like a cool room so we could regulate the temperature to our liking.
I had always felt a bit nervous to stay at a B &B. My friend raved about this place so I tried it. I wish we had stayed longer. Amazing breakfast, beautiful rooms and the couple that run it are sweet.
This was a great place to stay. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The cottages were clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The weather was terrible but we still managed to have a great trip.
I went May long weekend with my family and this place was wonderful. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The wifi worked extremely well for a relaxing cabin spot. It was right on the water and the service was amazing. The owner put a fire pit right next to our cabin and we had a BBQ and fire together. We could not have asked for better service while we stayed there. We were also told there are boat tours available during the summer. I will defiantly be going back again to this spot!
Good location on the water with access to the water and small boats for guests to use. Nice room and very welcoming hosts. The breakfast was delicious and PLENTIFUL. My biggest reason to return would be for breakfast.
This was a lovely stay! Kores & Liane struck us right away as a truly caring snd accomodating couple. Impressive cautions were taken to accomodate my seed-free dietary restrictions. The breakfast was amazing, definitely prepared with great care and variety including homemade yogurt, smoothie of strained raspberries and blueberries, tiered tray of assorted fruits, meats, and cheeses, white, multigrain and raisin breads, juices, gourmet-style omelette, personal coffee urn, ice tea and juices. So delicious we may have overdone it! The grounds are equally pleasant. Choice of indoor or adjacent deck dining, fire pit, and even a riverside picnic table. A lovely boardwalk along the Kouchibouguacsis river adds to the ambiance. Top marks!
We stayed in the Cog cottage mid August, 2020. Very, I mean VERY clean cottage with everything you could ask for. Full kitchen w/ utensils, nice electric cook top, fridge, dining room, living room with pedestal fan that moves up/down & left/right; all in one motion (never seen one before, memorizing :) ). Comfortable bed and very nice bathroom with tall shower head. Whole cottage looks brand new. Owners are super easy to talk to, wealth of information on the area. Very reasonably priced; all with a view! This is the place to stay if you want to visit Kouchibouguac national park.
