We had a wonderful stay here. They arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport. They also arranged to have a driver take us to Guanajuato, where we stayed next. We loved our room, with a great tiled tub in the bathroom. We slept with the windows open, and could hear the church bells and dogs bark....

Francisco and Antonieta are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. They are genuine to the bone and very sincere about making your stay with them comfortable, cozy and fun. Their property is absolutely gorgeous beyond compare with a roof view of San Miguel de Allende. Their support staff is gracious and very friendly. The rooms are spacious...

About Innkeeper's Favourite Review

Having traveled for many years, I fully appreciate it when the innkeepers take a personal interest in their guests, the property is well-kept and beautiful, and everything is in its place. There is a reason that visitors to this bed-and-breakfast give it very high marks.… because it deserves it! We stayed in the Huichol room. The art in it was...

We spent three nights in the exquisite Antigua Capilla. It's hard to know where to start with this review. Everything about our stay was perfect. The property is quintessentially Mexican and impeccably maintained. Antonieta and Francisco (who both speak perfect English and fluent Spanish) are both lovely people and very welcoming hosts. Antigua Capilla offers its guests the best of...

American couple from San Francisco, both of Hispanic heritage who have combined the best of both cultures. Impeccable property with absolutely nothing forgotten down to the slightest exquisite details including Egyptian cotton sheets. Each breakfast a culinary treat. Just far enough from the center to be relatively quiet unlike the rest of the city...yet quite walkable or a $2.00 taxi...

Antonieta and Francisco, thank you again for a great visit. The family really enjoyed it, particularly sitting around the garden tables at night with a glass of wine!! We appreciate the hospitality and especially the breakfasts. See you again soon.

This may be our best B&B experience and we have had many. Our room, the common areas including a roof top garden were absolutely beautiful. The property is perched on a hillside, affording spectacular views of the city and sunsets . The breakfasts were delicious and included homemade granola, fresh fruit and yogurt as well as a full cooked main dish....

Very nice B&B. Internal architecture was quite interesting. Beds/rooms were comfortable and spacious. Rooms were very clean. The location was a 15 minute walk a bit uphill from the center. It was a nice walk which also gave a feel for this part of San Miguel de Allende. This gave a very dramatic view from their 3rd floor rooftop space....

I shared a room with my sister, and we each got our own queen sized bed on individual floors separated by a half-ceiling. The beds were incredibly comfortable and spacious. Fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, coffee, and a hot dish were served for breakfast every morning. The breakfasts were delicious and authentic Mexican food. There is also a rooftop to the...
