Very cozy rooms, some even have chimney. Food is the best. Not only delicious but abundant. Swimming pool is large and is filled with water that pours from the outside jacuzzi. The attraction of this hotel is its hot mineral water spring which provides each room with scorching water for the jacuzzis.

The hotel remains just like 40 years ago, nice place, great food and very relaxing time with spring water. You can play tennis, volleyball, pool, ping pong so time with family is prime There are also horse rides and the addition of a hotel shuttle to San Miguel is a big plus! Internet, on the downside is not great!

The place is beautiful, the thermal swimming pool is wonderful .... but when the guests bring a radio with horrible music with all the volume on this is terrible! I do not recommend this place if you want to enjoy the day. Why do the suppose that everyone likes that music. Everyone must respect the other guests. I am not...

Nice familiar atmosphere, clean, and terrible internet. There are a lot of places where you can't use your cellular phone. Breakfast and either lunch or dinner is included. In my opinion breakfast was better than lunch (it was food to keep you satisfied but it wasn't very good) The warm water in the pools was very relaxing. The hotel is...

We were really happy with our stay at Hotel Hacienda Taboada. I visited for 2 nights with my husband and two teen age sons. It is a place for relaxation and getting away. The hotel is about 20 minutes outside San Miguel Allende and to arrive you drive about 5 kilometers on an old cobblestone road into the countryside. It...

I used to visit this hotel when I was about the same age my kids are now. Lots of happy memories. We booked this hotel because it was near San Miguel, but not in the busy downtown area. And it had pools, and they were thermal waters. Fortunately the hotel has managed to stay current. Decent wifi in the rooms....

If you want to really relax or swim in warm, healing waters then head to the large Taboada pool. There isn't anything fancy or upscale about the place. However, this is a great place if you want to swim laps, do water aerobics, or just enjoy being out in the country. Be sure to stop for gorditas at Don Cero...

This hotel is for taking a big rest! Excellent food, excellent service and excellent rooms! It is near San Miguel, like 5 to 10 min. I recommend to visit Tobada on December, it is a very nice experience to have a cold weather and being on a thermal pool at 3 am.
