At this Hotel, you will find a couple fair Clay courts and every morning, except on sundays, you will find there a couple tennis teachers, so you can play or take lessons, for a fair price. The Hotel has a big parking area and is right across from the Instituto Allende and is close to down town. >Walking distance. seven...

Good location being fairly close to center of town but far enough where it is peaceful and quiet the exterior of the building and grounds are pretty the interior feels a bit stark. The rooms are clean and basic however the bathroom really needed updating. The staff seemed to be cold and detached from the hospitality you would expect at...

This little gem has charming interior and exterior spaces with very helpful staff especially room manager Rayna and restaurant Staffer Alexandro. My room on the second floor was kept spotless by housekeeping each day and seemed very secure, although had I faced the locational challenges of the previous reviewer, I too would be displeased with the security environment. The public...

I was with a tour group of 18 people. We got the worse rooms with the least views. Whatever they had for a bar was closed. You had to ask anyone around to get you a drink. The pool was okay but not too clean. I was the only one of the group who had a decent mattress. Everyone else...

I stayed here for a week in October to attend a class being held on site. The property is lovely and close to town and many services. The staff is nice and they do their best to be helpful. I was disappointed to be assigned a room on the 1st floor, for safety reasons and asked to be moved. The...

I have had 2 weeklong stays here a year apart with my family and highly recommend this hotel. If you have a car, you can park here which is rarity in San Miguel. We didn't have one and it is walkable to every point in the city- Across the street from Instituto Allende and around the corner from Josefina's Spanish...

Posada de la Aldea it's located in the heart of the city with pretty much every highlight at walking distance which is of great help. The personnel of the hotel it's also very attentive and kind (as expected in any reputable Mexican hotel) and the courtyard looks very pretty. But all it's virtues are overshadowed by the prices of a...

The hotel is attractive until you find out you have no towels, there is no fan in the bathroom so the mirror is useless, they don't supply a shower mat so it's pretty risky, no grab bars either, no bath mat so tile floor is very slippery, and if you only have one towel you cant very well use it...

We stayed at two places here in San Miguel and we were so glad to also have stayed here. It is very convenient and across street from Instituto Allende - and easily walkable to centro. What we especially enjoyed was the more Mexican, hacienda-style ambience of this hotel. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. The bathroom was large....

This hotel is in a great location because we were taking silver-smithing lessons across the street at the Instituto. The rooms are large and comfortable with A/C or heating, depending on the weather. Staff is friendly. We had breakfast included with a weekend buffet breakfast also during busy season. The grounds are gorgeous. There is a restaurant for lunch and...
