We stayed there in July, and I was disappointed in the steep price rise. Not only was it up to $100 per couple, but with the dollar so strong, it was even more expensive in pesos. Must be at least a 20% increase. Also, only breakfast instead of two meals per day? It wasn't clear to us. Anyway, the place...

I've stayed here three times, and it feels like coming home. The food is custom cooked and excellent. Rooms are squeaky clean and beautiful. The rooftop patio has an amazing view. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in SMA.

I stay at Maricela's Casa whenever I come to SMdeA which is as often as I can. This is a small gem. Not fancy, but clean as a new pin and most comfortable - flowers and plants everywhere - and a lovely happy staff who have been with Maricela for years and sing while they work! My favorite place is...

Maricela and her staff are very gracious and attentive. Maricela is a native of San Miguel and speaks sufficient English to assist her guests so they can fully enjoy their stay. The rooms are a bit small but spotless and the 2 meals a day are healthy and delicious. The location is perfect and a short walk to the jardin...

Nearing the end of our stay and can't say enough good. The location is perfect, the staff lovely, the rooms spotless, the owner Maricela like a mother hen who tends to absolutely everyone's whim and the food is amazing! With two meals a day included in your stay, you can't get better value for your money. Repeat visitors are a...

What an unbelievable experience! Maricela and her staff are the most caring hosts we've ever spent time with. We were there for one month both recovering from surgeries. Maricela took me under her wing feeding me special food to help me lose weight while there. The meals were superb. The rooms were immaculate. The roof top terrace was the best...

Casa Maricela is a place you will never forget. Maricela and her staff cannot do enough for their guests. Every dietary need, or whim, is met. The staff never forgets what you like to drink with your meal, what fruits you enjoy, and will give you choices . The bedrooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. The view from the...

You just can't go wrong here. A beautiful spotless room, fantastic meals served in a perfect setting, and a staff so friendly and pleasant you won't want to go home. Speaking of which, after serveral visits to Maricela's over the years, this place has become my home away from home in Mexico. The price is a superb value, Location perfect...

This little gem (tesoro) in San Miguel de Allende (Mexico) is a perfect "home away from home." Maricela, the owner, is gracious, kind, and the perfect host. The meals are delicious, the rooms immaculate, the roof top terrace a place of respite and relaxation with a veiw to die for. I didn't know about San Miguel prior to this trip...

The owner, Maricela, is delightful, bilingual, and most hospitable. I was there for ten days and had great time. The meals were delicious. I require a gluten free diet and found that most of the meals were generally gluten free and Maricela worked around a couple of the items that weren't without hesitation. The room was comfortable and cleaned every...
