Stayed in the bunkhouse and as always it was spotless and comfortable, nice to see things are being improved every visit we make. The campsite is great, although isn't the most campervan friendly. Most people I know with vans like to be able to put up an awning, but the camper pitch is hardstanding so no facilities for erecting the...

Many thanks for your review. We are pleased you enjoy the ongoing improvements we make. We do try to improve facilities each year. The campsite is ideal for tents predominantly. We do have one hard-standing pitch which is suitable for camper vans, however as you point out there is no grass next to this pitch and therefore not suitable for...

We hired Platt’s Farm for our ‘wedding weekend’ in early September which turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. Sam and the team at Platt’s were accommodating, flexible and consistently more helpful than we could have ever hoped for. The campsite is unique, with a number of communal spaces that enabled us to have...

We visited in August was very quiet for high season. It is situated close to shops and about ten mins walk to the beach. The toilets and showers need painting. The washing up since needs updating as its in a half shelter at the front of the biggest site. Apart from that a lovely little site and it's perfectly safe...

Thank you for your constructive comments. We do appreciate feedback. We agree that the washroom facilities require painting. We are very much looking forward to getting some paint on the walls after the bank holiday weekend. The shower rooms are also due to be refurbished this winter which we are looking forward to doing. As time and funds allow we...

We had an amazing time last weekend. I took a ladies football team. We used the bunkhouse & additional tents. We were a little noisy first night as we didnt realise the owners were living above us in bunkhouse but they were very understanding. We would love to go back next year if they would have us

We turned up unbooked. The site was full but we were offered the bunkouse to ourselves. It was fantastic value for money. The owner was very accommodating and the site was very interesting, they provided a history of the site to read. The bunk house was well equipt. It was a walking distance to shops, a pub with meals, take...

Stayed here with my boyfriend for one night last night as we are backpacking around Wales. Hi Thank you for your lovely comments. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Since your stay, the plants have been pruned. We continue to fight the ongoing battle with the spiders and will do our best to remove cobwebs.
