We did not stay here, but booked a cooking class. One of the owners, a chef, develops a menu and then provides recipes and instruction for preparation of an entire Italian meal, from appetizer, salad, fresh pasta, meat course, through dessert. It was low season and we were the only guests so we had the restaurant to ourselves. The cooking...

I have been meaning to write this review since returning from our stay in Papa Mora in September 2016. It is a highly individual and quirky B&B, not really B&B not quite Hotel somewhere in between. It is a large Farm house with an interesting history ( look at their facebook for Marias stories). It is completely relaxed you can...

We were very charmed by the warm personality of the hosts. Beautiful location with nice and large swimming pool, cosy garden and patio. We also enjoyed the excellent homemade dishes and the typical laid back Italian atmosphere.

Arriving after a long drive from France via Switzerland in less than perfect weather to find our hosts very busy organising a wedding reception (we had been pre-warned) our first impressions were not all positive, but things got better. We skipped dinner, and the wedding party, the first night and ate at the village bar/pizzeria, which was very good, but...

We stayed four nights in this agriturismo. It was marvellous. The welcome was very warm en enthusiastic, the room was clean, the pool was nice, but will especially attention for the diners: they were "divine". The first home made food was so good, that we decided to eat all the days in this restaurant. On Sunday, the diners was exceptional....

Completely agree with lisaBorneo "Awkward" review below. We stayed for three nights. No-one welcomed us and once we found someone to show us our room (which was up the rickety plastic spiral staircase, partly held together by cable ties), we were left to work things out for ourselves. There is a good info leaflet in the room, but the owners...

I found this B&B in the Sawday's Special Places to Stay (http://www.sawdays.co.uk), a very reliable guidebook for the kinds of places we enjoy. We stayed here for four nights on a recent 10-day vacation in northern Italy. It's close to wonderful wine country as well as the city of Turin. Our host, Maria Teresa, was most helpful in suggesting things...

We stayed at Cascina Papa Mora for 1 week: we enjoyed the peace and quiet, the excellent swimming pool and most of all, la cena. It is possible to have a good walk directly from the premisses and within a small hour you can start walking around Barolo, for example. In short: I would do it again.

Cascina Papa Mora has some relaxing and fun features but the B&B guests do not seem to be the top priority. The features mentioned in reviews and shown in photos have seen better days. We found climbing the plastic spiral stair to the family rooms a nuisance with bags. It would be dangerous for small children and difficult if not...
