We just returned from our first visit to Cabo and the Palmar didn't disappoint. The rooms was large, comfortable and clean! The grounds and pool area are constantly being swept, cleaned and manicured. We went with the AI plan and this was the best and most consistent AI food we've ever had. Finally, the service! We didn't have one wait staff that wasn't fantastic. We have to give a shout out to Carlos Castillo at the pool. He kept us in food and drinks and did it with a positive attitude and with professionalism. He's good!!!!

Although my wife and I have been to many many resorts, we have never reviewed one but our experience at VDP was so good I had to write it up. First they are trying to address the common problem of people putting out towels on beach and deck chairs early to reserve them. They have a posted policy of the items are left and they are unattended, the items will be taken to the towel shack. I saw one of the pool attendant's do that and he picked up some of the guests personal items. He was verbally attacked by a "friend" of the owners of the items. The VDP employee was yelled at cussed out but remained perfectly calm and polite and just kept repeating the resort policy. This went on for quite some time but the employee held his ground and the chairs were later occupied by other guests. The result Is that we were able to find chairs at almost anytime during the day. Thank you for taking tis difficult position. Also I have to comment on the food. The evening fare at Bella California (Italian) was excellent and the view was unbelievable. We liked the sports bar even though we are not big sports fans. The food was excellent and our waiter Jovani was so helpful and brought whatever we wanted. All the staff was so accommodating. If you wanting something that wasn't on the menu or a substitute the answer was always "No problem". Ordering pizza from you chaise on the beach was great. The Mexican food at the Taco bar was great. All in all one of our best experiences.…

Excellent food,cleanliness,and staff!A few we would like to acknowledge are Nico, exceptional waiter, Ana Maria who went over and above to accommodate us in getting an accessible room ,Oscar at the front desk assisted us in our room change so it was a smooth transition.Angie at the Sports bar was very friendly and a Great server.Would highly recommend Villa to anyone!

Disappointed. Reserved a room with a king size bed. Received a room with 2 double beds. Asked for a room with a king bed prior to booking and was confirmed. Staff stated no other rooms available. Upfront with staff the moment we were asked to set up a breakfast / tour of the establishment. We told them no not interested and would not do a tour even when offered more discounts. No one bothered us further. Was not given information on other options for all inclusive instead of the outrageous daily price per person. To find out from other quests there are other options which would be reasonable. Towels given for you for beach / pool. There are different color towels for the different type of guests such as owners, rentals, hotel. The wait staff treat people defiantly depending on the type of towels. Are not able to enjoy the beach without constant interruptions by people selling their crafts. Cash payment for food and drinks are very costly. For people who did not do all inclusive, be aware of the different areas and times when there is happy hour 2 for 1. Put do not disturb sign on your door after room is cleaned otherwise you can be waken by staff coming into your room seeing if you need towels. If you try to contact the staff via phone be prepared to make a trup to the desk. The telephone is not answered. The pool and the hot tub are disgusting. Film floating in pool and the hot tub so fifthly you cant see the bottom.…

All the staff were positive and responded to happily and quickly to my requests. Elizabeth kept me supplied with beach towels and was cheerful in the morning and through the day. Mario and the pool concierge also made me feel most welcome and helpful. The hotel had excellent Italian food at Bella and Neptune at the Arco resort rocked the flavours freshness and presentation for the sea bass. Also the impromptu birthday song and Roman candle and dessert was a nice surprise. The drinks were awesome as well at Arco and by the pool. It was easy to walk into town and experience some of the bars downtown. Lots of cabs.

My visit to Villa Del Palmar was more than I ever expected. The staff and accommodations were excellent. My room was clean and spacious. The food was buried and of good quality and was well prepared. Check in and check out was easy and staff was very helpful in explaining the resort’s activities.

Stayed at Villa del Palmar in Cabo. I loved our waitress Nayeli! She took care of us each day for a week. We literally would sunbathe in whatever section she was working as we knew we would have perfect service and great conversation! The resort was clean and staff was great. The time share selling team was too much , except we liked Edna:) no should mean no, but it doesn't there. The food was OK, not authentic and very expensive. We jumped the city bus and uber to the dirt road areas where the local live and eat and had fantastic food and great service.

We stayed 2 weeks and had an enjoyable experience. Views of the Land Ends rocks and arch are amazing. We saw whales a few times right from the patio deck. Downtown is a short taxi ride. A great selection of restaurants to choose from at the resort. Nico was the best server ever at poolside and looked after us very well. The other servers could learn from him! We had a couple of issues with our room but they were fixed in a timely manner. There are nightly shows at the resort; not as good as cruise entertainment though. All in all we had a great time and would come again.
