We have been staying at the Mar De Cortez for the past 15 years. It is a great place, right in the heart of Cabo. Rooms are clean, simple and comfortable. The staff is what really makes staying here such a great experience. Great restaurant, bar and pool. Walking distance to many of the best restaurants and 5 minutes from...

Able to walk to wherever you want to go. Rooms were extremely basic and really need an upgrade in their lighting. I found the beds to be really hard but I got used to them. Water pressure was fine but for hot water, just turn on the hot and it gets warm. It would be nice to have a place...

Stayed here solo, I was comfortable, safe, and very relaxed. I stayed at the hotel most of my days here, as it was friendly, quiet, great guests, food very reasonably priced and very tasty. The breakfast plate of fruit was soooo good and reasonable I could not get this at some 5 star hotels in the area!!! Cudo's Mar De...

This will be my go-to place to stay in Cabo from now on. It's a 5 minute walk to Cabo Wabo, the Giggling Marlin, Lolitas and restaurant row. The Marina, El Squid Roe (the absolute best bar/night club in Cabo) and Mendano Beach are a 10 minute stroll away. The place is clean and looks nice. The highs: Location, price,...

I brought my son out to San Lucas for his spring break, and we had a fantastic time. The hotel earns its rating after taking into account it's relative inexpensiveness, and how it worked as a place to bring kids. The rooms were adequate, not luxurious. We didn't find the mattresses to be too hard, and the shower was equally...

We stayed here only one night before heading to Todas Santos. The hotel is really cute and felt like a secret oasis. The grounds are well maintained with a beautiful pool area. Open air restaurant with good food. The rooms are truly basic, absolutely nothing fancy but they were clean. We loved the location. Right in the heart of Cabo....

CONS: I was expecting more since this hotel was rated so highly. The service was mediocre and the room was a little run down. The bed was the hardest mattress I've ever slept on and the covers were pretty much just sheets. The shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom and the mini fridge made a loud clanging sound...

We weren't sure what to expect, but ended up loving this hotel. It has a pool, restaurant and bar and is within walking distance to everything in Cabo. We would definitely stay here again. Rooms don't have TVs and the wifi is spotty or not working half the time.. but if you're there to relax and unwind, it's the perfect...

My husband and I stayed at the Mar De Cortez for four nights last week and really enjoyed it. It was a perfect location for exploring town. The breakfast was good and so was the bar service. The beds were very comfortable in my opinion. Great little place!
