The Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All Inclusive Golf & Spa earns accolades for its exceptional service and stunning location that captivates guests with beautiful views and easy access to local attractions. While the hotel's atmosphere buzzes with live entertainment and a mix of cultural and Americanized elements, the rooms receive mixed reviews regarding their upkeep and style. Visitors applaud the cleanliness and the array of amenities, though some mention room for enhancement. Meanwhile, the value proposition faces criticism due to perceived high costs and surprise charges.

I need to start with the fact the resort is EXTREMELY health conscious. All staff wears protective glasses, masks and at times gloves. At check in, we were given a "gift" box containing a mask, sanitizer and other odds and ends. We were encouraged to practice social distancing and we never felt uncomfortable.

We have been to this resort many times (about 15 times) Our three bedroom suite was amazing and centrally located. The view is fabulous and the service is off the chart. We went with our daughter and her family (which included one teen and one tween) Lots for the kids to do. Numerous pools, snorkeling on site, games at activity desk and much more.

We used the pool at Blu almost everyday due to Juan Prz, Javier Rosales, and Chet Moises (the bartender) They were always cheerful, prompt and super fun to hang out with. Lunch at Blu is a MUST!! It is truly a treat! I honestly cannot say enough about the staff at Blu! Thanks gentlemen.
We always enjoyed Sushi Sky Bar. Carmen Hernandez, Martha Roman, Carlos Sanchez and the chefs were fantastic. The food beautifully prepared and served.

Rosita is also a must and the waiters do a fantastic job. Some nights we were a large group and they always accommodated us.

Fiesta Americana Cabo is truly our second home.

The grounds of the resort are very well kept with staff constantly cleaning and tending to the grounds. This is a very large resort built into a mountain side. It makes for great views from every room but does lead to a lot of walking. The beach was advertised with a gravel like sand that requires water shoes to protect your feet. The view from the beach is great and the whale watching is something we will never forget. The best meals we had were at the Italian restaurant, Rosato. We dined there twice and were greatly warming by Gaby both times. On a first visit our server Ivan provided a friendly and relaxing evening highlighed by the fire show that comes with ordering Mexican coffee! On our second visit, we also go to a favorite on our last night, we treated to the same friendly and relaxing meal by Raul and Jesus. Both went out of their way to ensure our last night was memorable. So much so that we introduced the the chef, Carina who had prepared out wonderful meals. As a special send off the manager, Juan Carles sent a few moments making sure our experience was up to the high standards he expects. I would suggest eating breakfast at the Pennisula Restaurant every morning of your stay. The view is a great way to start the day. Nicalus at the omelette station was great and always friendly with a quick wit and good story. Our waiter was Christof and he too was so pleasant with a great personality and memory to always have your favorite morning beverage ready!

This has to be one of the best all inclusive resorts we have ever stayed at , could not find fault with anything!
All the staff were friendly and helpfull and nothing was to much .
our 5 year daughter loved the kids club to the point she didnt want to leave !the girls in there are excellent with the kids I would highly reccomend this resort if you have children.
The peninsula restaurant was excellent not just with the quality of food but the service, Elizabeth the hostess and Antonio, Salvador and Karley were excellent waiters, the chef in there was very good he would always cook off menu for our daughter and bring her food out himself .
If your into whale watching this is the place to be , whales were jumping just off the beach all day long.
No problems in getting back to your room either after a night out or a hard days sun bathing they have golf buggies that run you to you room free of charge!
We met the mangager Diana a few times during our stay she is very helpfull and im sure she could resolve any issues if you were to have any.
Im not normally someone who writes reviews but in this case I feel I have to due to the quality of the resort

The staff at this resort were very friendly, attentive and happy to help. Everyone wore a mask the entire time, there was plenty of hand sanitizing stations everywhere, and they reminded guests to social distance and wear their masks as well. The property was beautiful and clean. They have live music on Saturday night outside. It would be a great trip for families, couples (there was an adult only pool on site) or a relaxing low key girls girls trip.

Although the weather wasn't the greatest; overcast the entire time we were here, the staff made up for the not-so-great weather. They were exceptional, very friendly and
helpful.
The resort is relatively large and well kept. Depending on where your room is located, there could be quite a distance to get to and from the beach, and restaurants. If you are into tracking your daily steps, this is the place to be.

Speaking of the beach, it's not swimmable as there are very large boulders in the water and the black flag is always out. Not sure if what's on the beach is considered sand. It's more like ground up rocks which made it very painful to walk barefoot. The rooms are spacious and clean

Abraham took really good care of us during breakfast at Piña del Mar restaurant and although at times we were seated outside his area of service, he still looked out for us and anticipated our needs. Jesus and Rafael were our attendants on the beach. They were very attentive and made sure we stayed hydrated 🍹 It's very apparent they LOVE their job and take pride in it.
The Somma Wine Spa is very serene and relaxing. The services offered is unlike any I've had in the US. Jannet was my masseuse and as tiny as she is, she had very strong hands. It was heavenly.

I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice quiet relaxing getaway. Great for families couples or just to get away by yourself

My wife and I, along with my daughter, her husband and 2 small children, just returned from a 9 day stay here. The trip could not have been better. The accommodations are fantastic, the scenery beautiful, the staff super attentive, polite, and helpful. But most importantly we wanted to go somewhere that was going to be SAFE for all of us during this pandemic. This resort goes above and beyond the call in that regard. They are only allowing 30% capacity, and all of the pools, restaurants, bars, everywhere is being cleaned and re-cleaned constantly. All staff members are wearing masks every moment of the day. Every restaurant gives you hand sanitizer before you enter. The pool towels are wrapped in plastic. Everyplace you look the staff is wiping down surfaces. We felt completely safe every moment. We highly recommend this place

It is my last hour here and I am sitting in a chaise lounge with nothing but the ocean and humpback whales in front of me. Our travel agent, Nancy Solomon in Orinda, CA, sent us three hotel options and this was one of them. I had not previously considered an All Inclusive assuming the food would be mediocre and mass produced, but the price was too good to pass up and I liked the other Trip Adviser reviews—which turned out to be accurate. Everyone here is extremely friendly and accommodating. We loved our ocean view room in the Club section, which gave us a few extra delightful amenities. In a 7 night period we made it to almost all the restaurants and there was delicious food in each and something to like in all of them. Elizabeth Ramirez, hostess at the Peninsula waterfront restaurant was above and beyond professional, smart, gracious and made us feel extra special and taken care of. One night I ordered a seared tuna dish and told the waiter to let the chef decide the best way to prepare it. It tasted amazing and the chef came out at the end to discuss how he had done with my order! Lots of little special things like that happened all throughout our stay. My biggest worry in advance was the whole thing with grabbing chairs, but maybe because it was February that simply wasn’t ever a problem. We always found great places to relax and watch the ocean and the whales. I would highly recommend Grand Fiesta Americana if you are looking for some delicious down time.

Save your money! You will be discriminated against for not speaking Spanish and treated like second class citizens. This was the worst vacation I have been on and we have traveled to 10+ all inclusive resorts in Mexico. I understand that it's a pandemic and everyone is short staff but this is another level. 1) 3 out of 4 staff do NOT know where anything (such as restaurants) which shows that all the staff are new and not well trained 2) very little staff are available to help guests and as a result, lines were long everywhere including front desk to check it. It took 1.5 hours to check in because the guy who checked us in insisted that he got us a room in a quiet location as requested. Instead of listing to our request, he went on and on about timeshare that we already told him we were not interested. My husband had to go back 3 times before we got a room that was relatively quiet (or so we thought). Only for us to wake up at 6 am every morning because staff are getting room services plates left outside by everyone and banging every possible plate they could. For 4 mornings straight we woke up to banging dishes or doors at 6 am on the dot. We go to the restaurants and were treated like second class citizens because we did not speak Spanish. We were skipped and place in after people who spoke spanish. We were ignored and were not helped because we did not speak Spanish. One instance, we waited in line and were deciding to stay for dinner because the wait was 1 hour+, another guy went to the side the told the hostess something in spanish and she wrote his name down and when I asked her to switch the order because I was there before him, she told me "I'll see what I can do" and didn't do anything. At another occasion, we go to the buffet and a staff refused to give me some quesadilla but gave it to the woman behind be who ordered in Spanish. I go to the the bacon line, same thing happened. I go to the omlet line, same thing happened. It took me 30 minutes to get 1 egg, 2 quesadillas, and 3 pieces of bacon in a buffet. We've stayed at the American Fiesta in Puerto Vallarta and had a great time. We thought we would experience the same here but we were extremely disappointed. Save your money, go somewhere else!

Hello, Victoria! I am sorry that your experience was not the best, I appreciate the time you invested in writing every detail. Los Cabos is a destination that has an influx of foreign tourists, our resort is no exception. We receive many American tourists so our team is prepared to serve each of them as well as the national guests who visit us. It is true that waiting times in some services have been prolonged, but this only because of our compliance with health protocols, since we take the health and tranquility of our guests very seriously. It would be an honor if you could give us a second opportunity to chance your experience totally. Kind regards.

This was our 6th visit to the resort. We were a little apprehensive with the Covid restrictions and CDC requirements upon returning to the US.
We were contacted prior to our trip to ensure us that precautions were being taken, free Covid tests for our return flights, and provisions, should we receive a positive test.
The resort is at about 1/4 normal capacity, so no overcrowding, and masks are worn by all staff. Your temp is checked before meals and hand sanitizers are required prior to entry to restaurants.
We felt safe the entire time, and the staff was incredibly attentive during our stay!
Please don’t hesitate to visit Cabo, you won’t regret it!
We were greeted by several of the staff who remembered our group from our previous stays. Good to see Cristo and Christian again!!! They really appreciate tourists coming back after this past year!

A very good all inclusive resort on the west coast. About 40 minutes from the airport built on mountain side overlooking an effectively private beach. Site is very large with Internal transport via golf carts. Rooms are large will all overlooking the sea Restaurants were generally a-la-carte during our stay with buffets being the exception. The majority of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I’d like to mention Chief Luis Eduardo, Experience manager Diana, Peninsula manager Samuel, Matra-di’s Elizabeth & Diana and Servers Salvador, Antonio, Bravo and Alberto.
Special events were asked for and this added to our birthday trip. As for Cabo itself, an interesting seaside town for whale watching and nightlife, Coco Bongo is well worth a visit or two. Note that taxis are expensive from the gated site.
No better compliment than the fact that we will return in the future.

It’s beautiful to look at and there are whales galore. Way too dangerous for my taste to get in past my ankles. There are great pools with gorgeous views of the ocean to relax and swim in. There was no one in the ocean.
