WE read the reviews but decided to give it a try anyway. >>Hotel staff 5 star >>Hotel food (3) star (As a family we liked the Baja California) buffet. At the buffet they had plenty of food but not much taste, staff was great. You won't go hungry. *At the dinner restaurants (the steak house), the steak was OK, but...

The Riu Santa Fe was a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to return tomorrow. I only gave 4 stars just because of a couple of basic things. 1.) there is no elevator and the property is huge - guests should be assisted with luggage. After traveling for hours to get there, a guest shouldn't have to lug...

We had high expectations for Riu in Cabo San Lucas. We had stayed in the Riu in Guanacaste and it was awesome! The service was impeccable the food was awesome and the beach was great! Not the same could be said of the Riu in Cabo, we saw Giant Roaches on the premises and the food was the same everyday,...

Went with our family (children & grandchildren) before school started. Everyone had activities to participate in. Children played volleyball, water polo, shot air guns, danced (adults too!). To me the people working at an establishment are the most important factor - everyone was helpful, kind and worked very hard - this translates to fun activities, clean rooms and good food....

This place was of great value. The rooms were very nice, staff was friendly, and grounds were well kept. There was a "Loud" pool and a couple other quieter pools. There was really a place for everyone, depending on what you were looking for. The beach was swimmable and the water was nice and warm. I would recommend this resort....

I went to Cabo for a quick get away. I wanted some quiet time away from the day to day to read a book, and to plan my next trip away. So my best friend and I booked the trip and jumped a plane two weeks later. Both of us have stayed at Riu properties in the past so little...

The hotel facilities are nice and clean, the staff is friendly, but the experience is nothing special. The hotel is very big with many guests around all the time. This can be annoying since you need to wait for things (restaurant/bar, etc) and trying to make a reservation for the restaurants is impossible. The entertainment is the same as any...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for one week last July. The hotel is big, rooms are clean but the air conditioner didn't work and they didn't fix it, even when we called to mantainance service. (air conditioner was a problem in several rooms). The food was ok, not much variety but it was good. The swimming pools...

Food was great. Noise level was LOUD with the animation staff blowing their whistles non stop...not a quiet place on the whole property. The sports court for vollyball was mid beach....no peace there. We left the property every day to avoid the noise. We paid for an ocean view room, but because our plane was late arriving, they gave it...
