Hernan y Cynthia are very cordial and helpful hosts. With Señor Mañana they created a unique place with a very special vibe. I loved the garden with all the old mango trees. The place is perfectly located to discover San Jose and the beaches in the surrounding. Without doubt I would stay again at Señor Mañana.

I was lucky to find this hotel after a Liveaboard trip to Socorro. Excellent location and price. The owners Cynthia and Hernan were so hospitable and friendly I felt right at home. They spoke English which was very helpful for me. The grounds have a great feel and are filled with tropical trees, plants and birds. There are different areas... More

We stayed one week at this simple little hotel hidden and surrounded from tropical plants, palms and banana trees. It was great, affordable and the owners, Cynthia and Hernan are adorable and helpful. It's in the historic center, close to the beautiful Plaza and the art-shops. If you don't need luxury and wanna save your money for good food in... More

My partner and I decided we wanted to experience downtown San Jose before hitting up Cabo San Lucas. Señor Mañana was a perfect location to access the downtown core and its many amenities. Hernan and his family were super friendly and helpful. They made a dinner reservation at our request before we arrived. Highly recommend this "tree house" experience!

Compared with the boutique hotels which make up most of San Jose, the Senor Manana is reasonably priced although more expensive than similar places in some other parts of Mexico. Nothing fancy, friendly management and in the town centre. If you're into craft beers, the Baja brewery is only a couple of blocks away and shouldn't be missed.

I have stayed at Sr. Mananas twice this year for two months total (October and December). I will likely stay well on into January. It is my place of choice here in San Jose. Think treehouse (I watch birds on banana trees right out my bedroom window)...The place is reasonable priced, has motorcycle parking, is on one edge of the... More

Cynthia and Herman are super great. The place is located in downtown easy walk to beach, shops, eats, and the best a freshwater estuary with lots of birds and a walkway. Bring mosquito repellent. It is like a forest hidden in downtown with towering mango trees and vines. No brainer - this is where I stay every time I visit... More
