Visited The Hope and Anchor just after New Year and it was very busy for a Monday lunchtime. Very large pub with lots of different eating areas. Beautiful upstairs restaurant with great views. There were quite a number of dishes which were not available but we settled on the fish finger sandwiches which were huge! Not the cheapest but certainly...

I love Hope Cove and the Hope and Anchor so when friends invited us all down to spend NYE with them here, we really looked forward to it. Staff were awesome, efficient and in great spirits, food was served quickly and was fine. What let everything down was the entertainment. You had a pub full to bursting with party goers,...

A very welcoming atmosphere, extremely comfortable bed and loads of hot water to give a nice bath after coastal walking! Given the weather was predicted to be good, but was miserable, I still had a wonderful time. It strikes you how perfectly situated this place is straight away. (See pics to learn proximity to 2 beaches). The food was extremely...

We enjoyed dirty chips! Pulled pork, chunky chips, cheese and jalapeños. Very filling and tasted great. Dogs were allowed in a lovely setting overlooking a beautiful beach. Good for adults and children as well.
