This review is not about Casa Baden Powell rather about the language school nearby which is under the same ownership. I spend 2 weeks studying Spanish there in July of 2016. The school is perfectly located on the edge of the city's Centro Historico close to markets, banks, attractions, the major city park, transportation and places to eat and go... More

If you're looking for a place to stay in the (fascinating and beautiful) city of Morelia, look into Casa Baden-Powell: they have furnished apartments in the Historical Center, within easy walking distance of a range of many great restaurants, or you can cook your own meals in your own fully equipped kitchen. Also within walking distance are wonderful landmarks like... More

We stayed in the apartments while we studied Spanish at the Baden-Powell institute just a couple of blocks away. In 5 weeks we needed a fresh food market, a supermarket, laundry, drugstore, convenience store, dentist, good restaurants...everything was within walking distance, although we took a taxi back from the supermarket with heavy items. I think the location and the king... More

This small apartment hotel is just what one needs when one is in Morelia. It is quiet, elegant, beautiful, comfortable, and has the best shower in the city, in my opinion. The small living room is fine for a visit with an old or new friend, the kitchen is small but fully equipped, the dining table ample, the king-sized bed... More

Baden Powell Apartments is a perfect place for those wishing all the luxuries of a hotel, but it's really your own private apartment. There are 8 different units to choose from. The lovely 2nd-floor terrace is a great place to relax after a day of touring. Eugenio, the landlord, lives in 1 of the units, so if problems arise, etc.... More

I spent one week here while studying Spanish at the Baden-Powell Institute. These furnished apartments are very well located in the central part of Morelia - well within walking distance of all the important tourist sites. The apartments are clean, quiet, well-equipped and sunny. Individual patios outside some apartments and a spacious roof-top patio are a real plus.

My friend and I have been staying in Casa Baden-Powell for a week while we study Spanish at the Baden-Powell Institute around the corner. We each have a fully-equipped one-bedroom apartment with sitting room, table, desk, TV, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. There are about 8 apartments in the building and the building is quiet and safe, a few blocks from... More

The apartments at Casa Baden Powell are excellent options for a stay in Morelia. I stayed for a little over a week and enjoyed the location, kitchen and nice space to call home. From reservation to check out everyone connected with the apartments was great. I look forward to returning to these great apartments in this very safe and very... More

We unexpectedly stumbled onto this gem of an apartment, and had no idea it was associated with the Baden-Powell Language School. This affiliation is a must to explore another time. A rarity in Mexico is a comfortable bed (I prefer softer) and enough water pressure to rinse away hair shampoo, add the convenience of a kitchenette, free WiFi and furnishings... More

I'm finally getting around to my review of this casa and also the school that is affiliated. The casa was more than adequate in both location and facilities. While I attended the excellent school for two weeks my wife, (who already speaks Spanish) explored this wonderful historic city, shopped and made awesome meals in the kitchenette within our unit. The... More
