I spent two nights in this hostel. The first night I was in room 11 on the roof. The view of the cathedral was fantastic but one of the windows had no curtain so light entered from the patio all night and from the sun all morning. It was also really noisy from people chatting on the patio and the...

Yes, this hostel is on the basic side but for 200 pesos a night, you're never going to get the Savoy. I didn't share other reviewers' bad experiences and although the shower wasn't private, the water was hot---much needed at this altitude. Staying at the top of the building, I had to add on some more metres for the 55...

The Hostal Villa Colonial's location is excellent and, at first glance, it is very charming. The view from the terrace is spectacular. That's where the 'positives' stop. Our group had four rooms and half of them checked out early for a variety of reasons. One person wouldn't consider staying in the room for even a night. We stuck it out...

This hostel couldn't have a more perfect location and the rooftop has one of the best views in town. Even though my Spanish is not the best I had a great time at the hostel and got all information I needed when I asked for it. I didn't meet that many other visitors, and I was alone in my dorm...

This hostel is at the best place in town. Just behind the Catedral, you can walk anytime in the zone where things are happening. Very close to most of the tourist attractions. Few meters from Teatro Calderon that becomes like smal amphitheatre when there is some music, or stuff goes on there. Even though it is closer to the touristy...

We got a private room which opened straight out onto the street. The room had one queen bed and a bunk bed + kitchen + dining room table and private bathroom. Although the hostel itself is nice, the rooftop makes this place incredible. At night you get a beautiful view of the city, lit up and bathed in golden light....

This hostel could be truly great. The location right behind the cathedral is fantastic and the rooftop terrace is very nice, with great views. The rooms vary in quality - some have nice private balconies while some are completely dark and dank with no windows. My private double room would have been a great value IF it had been cleaned...

This hostel is in a very good location, just behind the cathedral. Be sure to print your booking confirmation showing the price - they attempted to over charge me upon my arrival, until I could show the exact price that I was quoted. The terrace does have a lovely view. And my private room also had a lovely view. But...

We spent a night in this hostel. The room wasn't very big but it was enough for us. The staff was very helpful and nice. They have a terrace on the last floor with an amazing view on the cathedral. There is no parking so you have to hope finding a spot in the busy street.

Room number 14 is a small 2 room apartment, equipped with a stove. There are wooden beams and the shower is large and has constant hot water. Since it is a seperate unit on the street level, there is a degree of privacy rarely found in a hotel, let alone a "hostel". A fast, free internet connection, helpful staff and...
