NH offered a good stay in a room with a view to Saint Agustin's Church. The location is good, some blocks from Zocalo. The bedroom is spacious, with king size bed and a sofa. The high point is the big window with a view. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, served in the room. I think those hotels in old buildings gives us a better experience about Puebla's soul, but NH is an excelent option for good service and facilities.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and has an elegance to it that I appreciate when traveling in Mexico. The staff is very professional, personable, and helpful. Our requests for extra towels and help with the luggage were attended to immediately. And the best part for me, the hotel is two blocks away from the Zocalo in the Historical Center of the city.

This was not a good experience, and here are some reasons: - Booked a "new style room" but given an old room. Renovated rooms are in the hotel wing that is shut down (due to low occupancy, COVID). - Rather than explain that, at check in room was quietly substituted. When I realized what happened based on photos - no apology, no offer to refund the difference, contrived explanation and "moving rooms only possible tomorrow" (not worth it, 2 night stay) - Non-renovated room extremely tired & worn out - esp. the bathroom. Permanent grime in the corners (covered up by caulk). - And check out that mismatched toilet seat photo (but don't look too close - lots of caked on "stuff" around the seat and the bowl). Can't be too squeamish if you stay here. - Toilet was running non-stop. - AC does not work. It cooled the room a bit during the day, but consistently stopped cooling at night (actually raised room temperature). Again, contrived explanation, no fix. (I think they shut down the central chiller at night to save money). Don't expect a good night sleep. - Seem to be pinching pennies on housekeeping - toilet paper not replaced, no napkins available at all. Adding 1 star for a somewhat decent breakfast (served a la carte). Not sure if there are better options in downtown Puebla, but I would look long & hard elsewhere before booking at this NH.

Nowhere to place hand towel. Only one glass of water in a room for two. No courtesy water. Anyone can enter the hotel ando go straight to the elevators without being questioned. I don't think this place is secure.

We stayed only for one night and the hotel is covid19 free (ensures all the sanity measurements are placed) and it's very well located in downtown Puebla, just 2 streets from main zocalo and offers car parking service. The facilities are clean, and nice and check in process is fast, it includes Wi-Fi service and there's a restaurant Maybe is the most expensive option from the zone but it really worths it Please be aware that all the sanity measurements to avoid covid19 are in place such as wearing masks and gel
