The appartment we stayed had small kitchen and rooms, the staff was not so friendly and agressively tried to charge us for extra fee for a child that was sleeping with us although there was no clear policy on the booking.com site. they wasted so much time for having extra 20 Euro and lost the customer satisfaction and time, so we and all our friends that traveling a lot will consider to visit again such an host that argue on something that was not agreed in advance. They charged our credit card without our permission long after we left, such a pitty.

Think small designer hotel in a tiny "typical" village , close to Andorra and La Seu ( but without the tourist prices).... Sympathetic mix of traditional and modern....with nice friendly service.....all the mod cons..a great breakfast of local cheeses and cured meats and a heated pool area for chilling out after a long day of hiking/shopping What's not to like..??!!!

Hotel: Well located for Cerdanya valley, Seu d'Urgell and Andorra, but at a much better rate than in those centres. Indoor swimming pool; onsite parking; very short walk to village centre; great value for €s. Rooms: Modern; quiet; nicely decorated; comfy beds; spacious bathroom; soft fluffy towels; nice balcony with a great view

Beautiful modernized hotel in the small village of Alàs in the middle of La Cerdanya plain, in the Catalan Pyrenees. It has 12 differently decorated rooms and 2 apartments, all with exquisite taste. It has also an inside relaxing pool and the family restaurant next door where you can enjoy the local traditional cuisine. The surroundings and views are breathtaking. A place to relax, to trek snd hike or visit some of the nearby joys.

This was our last accommodation of our northern Spain holiday and we opted for this hotel because it's basically right there in the Pyranees. The hotel was okay, and our room had a lovely view over the valley. Breakfast was a buffet with local produce which we liked. The hotel is in a very small village which means that eating out is limited to their own restaurant which is a few metres away from the hotel. Make sure that you ask when opening times are because there is nowhere else to eat unless you drive to the the nearest town called La Seu d'Urgell. After a hard day of hiking and getting told that the restaurant will "last minute" not be opening that night is difficult for a rumbling tummy. The food at the restaurant is excellent though!! Staff are okay, just seem not able to speak English. The hotel was for us a good base to explore the Pyranees.
