Wonderful warm welcome from JJ & Lynn, my wife & I first saw it on the web site in Australia and couldn't wait to get here and we weren't disappointed. Wonderful atmosphere and the history lesson from JJ was terrific. Just simply a terrific place to relax, do yourself a favour and go there.

Fantastic little place, made to feel very welcome. Massive room with the most amazing bed a 38 week pregnant lady could wish for! Fantastic selection of breakfast goodies, both hot and cold choices which kept us thoroughly topped up until tea. Absolutely lovely stay, would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family or to stay again. We couldn't get...

This was our second stay at St Benet’s Abbey. The fact we returned speaks volumes. And this time we bought 8 of our friends with us. We were leading a group of 14 ramblers embarking on the Saints Way so the Abbey was an appropriate resting point being located just off our route. St Benet’s isn’t specifically geared up for...

I'll be honest: it was difficult to leave this wonderful B&B. The hosts, JJ and Lynn, made us feel so welcome and really worked hard to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The bed in our very quiet Superior Double was an absolute dream, there was plenty of hot water in the en suite bath, and the wi-fi worked great....

It always seases to amaze me at how detrimental a negative review of an establishment can be. Before our arrival to St Benet's Abbey, my Fiancé and I had avidily searched Trip Advisor to get a first impression of what our stay would be like. Trip Advisor filled us with skepticism about what our stay was to be like due...

The Abbey and gardens are stunning. We had a comfortable stay and the rooms are very clean. A delicious breakfast is served, with plenty of choice and quick, friendly service. The owners make you feel very welcome and are helpful if you need information about where to eat locally.

We spent 3 nights at St Benets not knowing what to expect. On arrival we were met by JJ who gave us a very friendly welcome and showed us to our room In this once abbey. The room was a standard double recently refurbished, very warm with a view of the old ruins. The abbey has a lounge area which...

After walking 16 miles through the muddiest parts of The Saints Way, my sister and I were relieved to reach this half way point. The owner ( Kieth) was very welcoming as he delivered an indepth health and safety must do, which included be in by 11.30 pm or face being locked out. When we got into our room it...

Very interesting first impression - the outside is quaint and quirky - well, it was started in 1411 - but the bedrooms and kitchen are more modern! The bar area downstairs has exposed walls dating back to the original. We had a very warm welcome having travelled all day, and they booked us in to the local pub for an...
