I went at the start of April when the pub wasn't too busy. We stayed for a meal. As everyone else decided to eat in the bar, my wife and I did too. we had a lovely crayfish tail curry and cheese and biscuits. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service extraordinary and the beer excellent.

Having popped in for a quick drink on Friday evening and finding a warm welcome and great atmosphere we returned the next day after a superb circular walk with magnificent coastal views in perfect weather. Another warm welcome, a well earned pint and very fresh crab sandwiches served either with chilli, coriander and lime or mayonnaise on the side. Great,...

Stopped here today for a light lunch before starting the 6 mile coastal walk back to St Ives, and it was a real delight. Had the sesame halloumi salad, by a cosy fire, with lovely staff. Almost didn't want to leave!

We called in to the pub whilst touring the area. The pub is old world with a small but interesting menu. We had a couple of local ales and ordered some lunch. The fish and chips - these must be the best chips in England....fat crispy deliciously crunchy chips and a great piece of fish. I ordered the black bean...

We visited a few weeks ago having walked along the coastpath and returning along the inland route. It was chilly and had been raining. We weren't sure whether it would still be serving food as it was late in the afternoon but as luck would have it they were and we shared a soup, ham sandwich and cheesy chips washed...

After a very long walk this pub is always so welcoming. Muddy boots and dogs are welcome. Food fantastic, staff friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Roaring fire in the main bar to warm you after a day out in Cornwall!

I stopped here for a late lunch with my family a few weeks ago while on holiday in the area. The pub has lots of character and original features which is lovely. We all enjoyed our food and the service was good and efficient, thank you.

This is a second review after some time. Warm and friendly as before in a cosy atmosphere (ie: log fire!!). The butterfly sardines are to die for and the atmosphere is so friendly. Rustic seating and surroundings. Reasonable pricing and quick and friendly service. Will hope to come back.

We walked with our dog across the fields from Wicca to Zennor which takes about 35 minutes, we were all welcomed at The Tinners Arms by friendly staff and a lovely log fire in the main bar. The bar is traditional and cosy and had games available, we played Scrabble as a family. The food was good, home made spicy...
