This is one of the best hotel we have ever stayed at! A historic building with a beautiful atrium with an antique piano and gorgeous stairs. It's like a museum. The rooms were decorated in French-Mexican style and were huge and beautifully decorated with expensive furniture. The restaurant was great. Attention was exceptional. You could even have a Carriage ride...

Reserved two Junior Suites (Andres & Lucrecia) for three nights. Arrived late and the rooms were ready. The hotel is a 1600's gorgeous old family-religious sect mansion restored and re-purposed as an exclusive hotel and museum. It is an elegant place to stay in Centro SLP. In typical old Mexican historic mansion style, the street view does not ready one...

This is a really fine hotel. The building is a renovated historic mansion, with an elevator tucked away for convenience. The restaurant is also excellent. One of our best food experiences in Mexico (a long list) was the fruit and cheese basket they offered. And by all means take the tour they offer of the building - its fascinating. They...

Nothing like staying in a museum and receiving top of the line hotel service! The bedroom was perfectly decorated and the style was simply out of this world. Don't miss the complimentary guided museum tour that takes you through tunnel and an opportunity to experience history along with elegance! We will definitely stay here again.

Exquisite service, this is a converted palace that now serves as a restaurant. The name "museum" sort of fits, it really does seem like one. Rooms were comfortable, furnished with antiques but bathrooms modern. Really great breakfasts included. Plenty of hot water unlike another reviewer. Wifi a bit dodgy but mostly worked, our room was at the far end. They...

Talk about staying at an actual museum & experiencing its history! 16th century old. Rooms with all amenities needed! No room service menu, BUT, but it was like staying in a private residence. Pick up the antique phone & they let you know whats on the menu. Walking distance to several plazas, w/over 5 churches w/interiors closely rivaling some of...

I took my family, with kids and older sister. We absolutely enjoyed this place. The bedrooms made us feel as if we were sleeping in a real castle. At night we wanted to go to a bar and one of the men from the hotel walked us to the bar and went back to pick us up. I definitely will...

This hotel is a lovely museum, beautifully restored but as an expensive hotel it lacks in the essentials of comfortable bed, hot water, and lack of noise. There was live music echoing through the building until 2200 and generally it is a noisy building. Breakfast average, the main meal was cold. The staff although friendly were not helpful. I rang...
