Our twin chalet was clean, had a shower and basin and a comfy bed with mosquito net. Shutters could be thrown open to the sea air and the view was great across the tree shaded sand to the beach and the sea. The staff team were wonderful and food plentiful and tasty. You can laze anywhere on a lounger or...

If you want to get away from all the hassle of the world go to the Jinack Island. Lodge is eco-friendly and situated in the middle of deserted beach – you will have kilometers of natural beach only for you. They collaborate with locals and fed some profit back into the community. Place is very laid back and quiet. There...

Away from it all is the island of Jinack. It is a great place to relax and take it easy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bungalows are good value for money. There is an occasional barbecue and a session of djembe drums. Highly recommended!!! Would definitely come back! Areas to improve: - food (maybe it is better to...

Everyone you meet is so friendly. Would recommend to anyone wanting a break from modern life that doesn't require 5* facilities. Big thanks to Devon,...

Visited twice 1st time October 14 2nd time Jan 15. Getting there: 1st time travelled from Banjul to Jinack in the canoe used by Jinack Lodge so you get delivered to the beach in front of the lodge. Some may think the price relatively hefty. Got to know the small cafe/ bar on the beach from where all the canoes...

This was our 2nd 2 week trip to the Island as we came for 2 weeks 2 years ago accompanied by our 15 year old son both times. We knew what to expect and Amms met us at the airport promptly and took care of us. Unusually we were taken to the island straight away after a 30 minute taxi...
