I stayed at the Iron Kettle B&B in Comber the night before my friends Wedding! Alongside the with other grooms men and brides mates we had the entire B&B to are selves! We enjoyed the Hot Tub, (Pool was closed for winter), and Lounge area. The Hosts were very friendly providing use with directions, and tips on anything we needed. Every room was unique and had its own washroom, and Flat Screen TV.
It was also great having a B&B with fast WI-FI and Satellite TV!

I would defiantly recommend the Iron Kettle B&B to any wedding party in the windsor essex county area, or any group of friend looking to have a great weekend at a reasonable price!

The Iron Kettle B & B was a 5-star haven for our large, last-minute family gathering.

No one in our group had ever stayed in a bed and breakfast before. Our previous experience has been at upscale, luxury hotels across the globe so we were extremely impressed at the level of accommodation and service.

From the moment we made our inquiry just two days before our arrival, we were made to feel that every attention to detail would ensure a stress-free stay, and it was.

The house is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We enjoyed the two spacious sitting rooms where the adults and teens could each have their own space. And because the weather was unseasonably mild, we were also able to enjoy the sun-filled breakfast room and adjacent patio by the pond.

After our first night's sleep, we just had to ask the owners about the beds. They're top-of-the-line mattresses with memory foam and pillow top, and are the most comfortable we've ever slept on.

The breakfasts were gourmet, healthy and generous. For the teenagers, a slightly different fare was offered according to their tastes. Most importantly, one family member has a severe peanut allergy and the owners could not have been more accommodating in their meal preparations.

The Iron Kettle B & B not only met and exceeded our clients' expectations, they anticipated our needs, which is a true sign of 5-star service.

We spent a weekend at Iron Kettle for a family wedding. The rooms are large, well kept, and the beds comfy. Towels, robes, TV, and most other amenities are provided. The place is quite large, and the grounds well kept. It is not necessary to say anything but 'delicious' regarding the food.

Our stay was perfect and we can only say thank-you for the hospitality. We would not hesitate in recommending a stay at the Iron Kettle. Perfect location explore the Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair areas from.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful Victorian house for a weekend in September with six friends. We had a really wonderful time. The friendly and helpful owner, Ben, is a chef and serves a delicious breakfast in the sun-filled enclosed porch. Ours included frittatas, homemade oatmeal, waffles, breads and homemade jams. The best, though, was dinner, which can be purchased in addition to the b and b rate and is well worth it. Dinner on each night was beautifully cooked and presented in the Victorian dining room, and made from local ingredients. Ben brought out each course and chatted with us about where he found the ingredients and how he prepared them. I loved the squash, carrot, apple ginger soup with goat cheese and I am still thinking about the perfectly prepared local perch. My husband's favourite was the beef tenderloin with mustard seeds, served on a light and tasty potato salad. The homemade desserts were imaginative and delicious. Ben was also able to give us a lot of information about the area, direct us to the local bike trails and give helpful advice about which wineries to visit. Point Pelee National Park, the southernmost point in Canada, is a 20-minute drive from the b and b and is a great place to go for a hike or a bike ride.

My boyfriend and I facilitated a wellbeing retreat at the Iron Kettle for 8 participants on a Friday and Saturday night. Benjamin worked with me through out the weeks to help make everything exactly as I had envisioned from the set up of the rooms for yoga and meditation, group discussions and creative play, to the menu which needed to be adjusted for several food sensitivities. He made the entire process from beginning to end go very smoothly and was a delight to work with!
The rooms and the entire B & B was very clean, warm, welcoming and offered every amenity we could possibly need. And the food was beyond delicious!
Whether you are looking to hold an event, or have some time away for yourself and you and your significant other, I encourage you to visit the Iron Kettle B & B. Benjamin will ensure your time there is top notch and exactly what you need and want it to be.
Thank you so very much Benjamin!

The 5-course dinners and the breakfasts were varied and always delicious. Our host, Benjamin, is an amazing chef and the dinners were a gastronomical delight. He explained the source of the fruit and vegetables, fish, meat, and cheeses he used in the various courses, and the presentation of each dish was exquisite. Each course was different from the night before and consistently appetizing over the four nights of our stay. Benjamin's intimate knowledge of the local wines made his pairings with each dinner very palatable.

We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub after extremely hot and humid days - both were clean and well kept. Towels for the pool area were provided. Our bed was very comfortable and we had the luxury of freshly ironed linen which is always such a pleasure.

A refrigerator was available to store any beverages we bought and had a good supply of water and soft drinks provided by Benjamin.

In our many travels both in Canada and abroad, we have never had such a consistently excellent stay with such comfortable accommodation and gourmet food.

As soon as we arrived at the Iron Kettle, we were charmed by the historic setting. Truly a beautifully maintained historic home and property. The rooms offered luxury beds, top quality towels and linens (all ironed) and our personal bathroom. Ben and Ginette, our hosts, made us feel at home the minute we walked in. The dinners and breakfasts prepared by Ben were exquisite. Wonderful place to stay if you are visiting the Pelee wineries. We will be back for sure! Merci!

From the moment we walked in till the moment we left our experience at the Iron Kettle was no where shy of superb. Everything from the hospitality and bliss felt from this historical house and its surroundings to Ben's undeniably delicious meals one can not help but find heir way back to this wonderful place. Aside from being affordable Ben's 5 course dinner masterpiece was outstanding. The rooms not only are well kept and clean but have an inviting feel to them. The Iron Kettle is not just a B&B but much more then that. It embraces all the essentials to be mentioned in the same category as a 5 Star Hotel. The Iron Kettle is a definite must!!
