I had my Bridal Shower at the Iron Kettle and the service was outstanding. I decided to have my shower there in the first place because I had heard many positive reviews from other people...well they were all right! Not only was the service fantastic, but the grounds both inside and outside were absolutely stunning and the food was amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone - whether it be for a little getaway or to host an event. Thank you to Ben & his staff for everything!

Walking into this B&B feels like walking into another century, with its Victorian charm and original architectural details, until you see the modern bathrooms, feel the luxurious bed sheets and mattresses, and taste the spectacular meals chef Benjamin Leblanc-Beaudoin creates. We celebrated New Years Eve weekend at the B&B after visiting 8 excellent wineries in the area, brining our wine to enjoy at each of the incredible 5 course meals Ben set out for us. An most memorable and enchanting weekend. We'll be back for sure. Absolutely worth the 3 hour drive from Toronto.

My Husband booked The Iron Kettle on a Monday night for our 35th anniversary. Ben showed us to our room which was so welcoming with the fresh strawberries and chocolate. Chef Ben cooked for just the two of us, amazing salad (fresh local picked greens) with feta and a vinaigrette that was amazing! Then came a prosciutto wrapped pickerel on a bed of white beans ( I have grown up in a pickerel catching family and never tasted anything like it) , following that was an delicious Lamb Alfredo, and then it got even better with a salted caramel tiramisu for dessert!! The following morning Ben was ready to make omellettes, and the homemade jam was fantastic! ( I had the strawberry pineapple!) Thank you Ben for making our 35th a memorable one!!

The FOOD, Service and attention to detail by the Ben is absolutely fantastic!!! If you're ever in this area, don't miss the opportunity to have the possibility of having "best meal of your life". Choose the Osso Buco or Lamb Shank.

My husband and I stayed at the Iron Kettle for Valentines Day. It was our first weekend away since having our daughter. Every part of our stay was perfect from the beautiful room to the most delicious meal my husband and I have ever shared. Ben you are an amazing chef! We also enjoyed visiting the local wineries and some cute antique shops. Rest, romance and rejuvenation! We will be back.

Stayed at the Iron Kettle while travelling on Business. The Iron Kettly was suggested by a colleague. As someone who usually stays at hotels, was never one to consider Bed & Breakfasts as an option......until Now. This place is simply remarkable. A perfect blend of rustic charm and fantastic hospitality. The breakfast alone is worth the price of Admission :)! What made this experience as enjoyable as it was was Ben`s clear passion for what he does.

I would recommend the Iron Kettle for anyone travelling in the area whether for Business or Pleasure. This is now my place of choice for future travels to the area.

A group of 11 ladies, mostly sisters, sister-in-laws, daughters and friends, spent a lovely evening swimming in the B&B's fabulous outside pool, relaxing in the hot tub, reminiscing and waiting to be served a gourmet meal!!! Ben, the owner, host and chef delighted us with a commentary as he served us his culinary delights!!! Fabulous meal enjoyed by all
The 5 updated yet antiqued bedrooms, all with private baths, were very reflective of this ageless 1876 Landmark home. Beds were so comfortable, rooms very quiet. AND breakfast the next day with a variety of quiches , amazing homemade jams with a number of homemade breads, were all the icing on the cake!!!!! We would all go back without hesitation!!! It is a hidden gem in the Essex County area!

We had a wonderful night away at this beautiful B&B situated close to wineries and Lake Erie shore! We had a tremendous meal experience and encourage you to get the meal deal when you stay here. Five carefully prepared courses from local sources were incredible.....I have never eaten so much before but I was not going to let one mouth watering bite left on my plate. You will also enjoy the lovely rooms and decor.

That day we drove to Oxley winery and along the shore to Historic Amerstburg which we enjoyed very much.
Pick up some wine to enjoy with dinner and somehow have room for the delicious breakfast the next morning...

Ben also took time to help us scan and print a important document our son needed.
Thanks Ben
