We stayed for 1 night in the family room March 2017. The room was warm & clean and everyone had a really good nights sleep, the full english breakfast is freshly made to order and was really tasty. The owners are friendly & we would recommend to anyone thinking of booking here.

Wanted a last minute get away for the night which was dog friendly. The Head came up on booking.com (we were struggling to find somewhere that was very dog friendly for one night as most places were 2 night stays). Upon arrival we were greeted by Elizabeth (the owner) who showed us to our room (in an outside annex). It...

My fiancée and I stayed for one night in December after visiting nearby Kirkby Lonsdale. It was easy to find and there was ample parking on-site. On arrival we were welcomed by Elizabeth and shown to our room, which was the family room. 'Checking-in' was very easy and the room was well-equipped, with all the usual conveniences, tea & coffee...

We stayed one night at The Head, in Middleton and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are outside in an adjoining building, the room we were given was large, warm and with everything we needed. TV, Tea and coffee, hairdryer etc ....The ensuite had a power shower which was superb. Breakfast was plentiful and just as we imagined -...

I have just returned from The Head, having stayed there with husband and small dog. We were made very welcome by the owners and had a beautifully clean, well-equipped and large room, in a private garden area. The food was delicious and very good value for money. The breakfasts were plentiful and we felt very happy with the service. We...

We booked for one night here to follow on from a day walking in nearby Ingleton. Wow, what a gem. The B & B 'rooms' are more like suites - ours had an entrance hall, settee & (small) dining table, as well as the standard bed, wardrobe & bathroom. The bed? As comfortable as any I have any slept in....

A group of 5 of us stayed whilst doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Elizabeth and the team were accommodating from start to finish, tailoring our stay to our needs. The accommodation was exactly what we needed after a long trek, beds were comfortable, showers were great and the food was absolutely excellent. What made the whole stay though was how...

The wonderful friendly welcome from Elizabeth actually started even before we arrived via her email to confirm our booking, (through booking.com). The Head B&B was easy to find on the rural back roads (SatNav) and with a huge parking area next to the accommodation. The Room was well appointed; settee; double bed; small dressing table; all the usual appliances; and...
