Stayed here in June for 2 nights on a groupon offer (dog friendly twin room). Nothing bad to say about my stay here at all. On arrival the reception team were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Food was amazing! We were given a voucher to stay again and definitely will be doing!

Went to this hotel through groupon, rooms were clean but a bit on the compact side, no real problems there as were only used for sleeping in, Evening meal included in the price was excellent with good choice, breakfast was also very good, managed to use the pool ,steam room and spa on our last night around 7 o,clock and...

Had a fabulous time staying at the hotel, bed very comfy and slept well, always plenty of tea coffee etc in the room. The restaurant over looked beautiful gardens and was entertained by the ducks popping their heads in the window. The food was top class and enjoyed every bit of it, breakfast was a good variety and run efficiently...

We stayed at the Damson Dene for 2 night on a Living social voucher, the room we were given to stay in was spacious, clean and bright with plenty of storage the only problem was the size of the bathroom it was narrow and very compact so only one person at a time could use it. The staff were friendly...

Wonderful review thank you and your comments about our staff have gone down a treat! The roads can be a little bit narrow, but that is part of the charm of the Lakes we suppose! We definitely have a bar/snack menu available, I am sorry we did not adequately convey that to you during your stay. We hope the next...

Very enjoyable weekend. Pool great. Only complaint is that the four poster bed was very squeaky. Every time you moved it creaked. The jaccuzi bath did not work, and maybe the rooms could do with a little upgrading, paint and such like. The bathroom window was cracked also. Saying all this tho, it didnt spoil our weekend, the hotel in...

Thank you for your review. Even despite of the creaky bed we are happy you enjoyed your stay. We'll obviously take a look at it as it may simply need a bit of tightening! We'll look forward to seeing you again hopefully. Thanks.

Just come back from a short break using a Living Social voucher and had a great time. The Manager and staff could not be more accommodating and approachable. The deal included a 3 course meal on one night and free bottle of wine if you booked for another night. The food was really nice, well presented and even the house...

This was my first holiday in one of the "South Lakes " group of Hotels. I found it easily, 5 miles from Bowness on Windermere.(sat-nav is useful!) It sits in it's own garden, complete with a tree lined pond, which has ducks and moorhens living there. There were plenty of places to sit outside and parking was not a problem....

We stayed here for 2 nights on Living Social deal. I had wanted to visit this hotel for sometime but never got around to it.
