We live in Tucson and visit Penasco about once a month, unless we are bringing other folks, we always stay at the Reef. The staff is friendly, the sites are well maintained and the price is unbeatable. We never make reservations so a beach spot is not guaranteed, but we usually get one, when the wind is blowing we prefer...

It's an RV Park so you bring your room with you. The staff was wonderful, accommodating, helpful and friendly. Gave us a great rate and choice beach front space even on short notice. Beautiful, unspoiled adventure on the Sea of Cortez. Go now, after the cruise ship dock is finished, it may be too late for this little slice of...

My family and I stayed at this place for the memorial weekend. and we loved it, we had problems with our power connections the first but then I was able to fix it. The beach is right at the front so our kids walked with their tubes and kajack to the beach with no problem. The beach was calm and...

This RV park is designed for people with ATVs/Quads. It sits right next to and is part of the area sand dunes and ATV race course. So it's loud and dirty, and there's lots of folks partying for the weekend. The facilities are very poor. There is almost no wifi anywhere on the grounds. The water pressure is a joke...

The Reef RV was great, how many places can you park right at the Beach, plug in and hook up to water and Wi-Fi and enjoy the sound of the Waves. Security was good but hardly needed as the people are very friendly and respectful. There was lots of People on Beach selling their stuff and we did buy some...

My family went down for a 4 day weekend and decided to give camping a try instead of the big resorts we've stayed at in the past. For the price and proximity to the beach you can't go wrong! We had friendly neighbors, who also had kids. My son quickly made friends and was out exploring the reef at low...

We stayed at The Reef RV park for Memorial weekend and had a great experience. We had beach front spots and reserved two not knowing the size. These are generous spaces compared to many places we have been. Our neighbor had his travel trailer and room for a nice set up with an inflatable Jacuzzi beside it. Our site had...

Although this park has no power or sewer hook ups it does offer a secure, friendly dry camping areas at affordable rates. There is good Wi Fi reception at the office along with comfortable seating . There are laundry facilities, a garbage service at the main office, and a controlled gate access. Compared to the alternative RV sites in Peurto...

Full hookups for any size RV. 50 and 30 amp service was good. Rates were off-season and very reasonable. English-speaking staff was friendly and provided good security. Office manager Gustavo was exceptionally helpful. They have a decent store for ice and a few basics. Wifi was good on the download; upload was occasionally problematic. This appeared to be a network...

The rv park is on the beach in a nice location. I agree with other reviewers that the restaurants are good, very nice staff, and secure. Wi-fi worked one day and did not work the other two days. My caution to those seeking peace is that it is a popular ATV camp with the loud track behind the camp and...
