The Beach Cabana $1,500 MXP in December and January. Not sure if the prices have changed though. Included is food and beverages for the day plus use of the cabana and lounge chairs in front of the cabanas. It could be a very attractive deal. Not sure if it is only for 2, but I suspect it is because it is an "Exclusive" area, which means no children.
The beach is about .25 miles walking from the center of the Punta Tower when walking through the building and around the pools and following the path to the cabana area on the beach. Then from the center of the Punta Tower, the distances increase depending on the tower you will be staying in. The distance ranges from .3 miles from the center of Tower One to .93 miles from the Tower Five round about. Walking is not a problem, so long as you can and you want the exercise.
Have a ball!!

At PV the Grand Bliss is more centrally located. Depends on what side of the hotel and how high you are located for an ocean view. Beautiful property but huge. Very secure, service outstanding. Have stayed in both GB & GL & I don’t think the upgrade is justified. Transportation quick & easily available but walking will be required to get some places. Wheelchair friendly mostly on ramps with gradients. GL Tower 1 & GB have the most accessible pools. Restaurant recs- Gong, Travanto, Blue Fish, Del Lago & Quinto (fantastic view but stay away from the 7 course meal if offered - way overpriced) Would think the temps in Oct would be very nice. We were there last week & highs in mid 80s & lows in high 60s. Hope this helps.
